COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Michelob Pale Ale is a classic English-style pale ale brewed with classic noble aroma hop varieties grown in the Northwestern United States and Europe, as well as two-row and caramel barley malts. With a dark-gold color, this beer has a spicy, hoppy character. A pale ale pairs well with full-flavored meats, like steak. This beer is best enjoyed in a tall, fluted pilsner glass.

Bottle at Fair Oaks’toberfest. Amber color with a light off-white head. Aromas of mild hop over caramel. Finishes balanced. Surpisingly good. Seems similar to Budweiser American Ale.

Bottle poured a clear amber with a large, creamy, long lasting head. Aromas of sour bread,a hint of soap and a bit of spicieness. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of bread, a slight nuttiness, and a hint of spice with a dry finish.

Nice try guys...well not really. I guess they should get kudos for the effort...but execution fails. Weak aroma and weak flavor...weak. better than bud, hell yes. At least that, huh?

Bottle... Lightly-hazed golden ale with a mid-sized, fluffy, white head. Good retention. Fruity, earthy aroma of mandarin orange, orange blossoms, and fallen brown pine needles with rumors of fresh canvas, charcoal ash and damp leather. Medium to full-bodied with a 2%-milk mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Well balanced, well bittered and technically well made, but seems uninspired. Short, crisp, lightly bitter finish.

Amber beer with a slightly fruity aroma. A bit of lean pale malt. Just a touch of spicy, fruity hops. Flavour is okay, light malt and a touch of citrusy hops. It’s not a bad beer, just kind of boring and non-descript. Tastes like a Canadian pale ale... and that’s not really a compliment.

12 oz. bottle from a sampler. Pours auburn colored with a permanent one finger head. Subtle hop aroma with a smooth malt backbone. Taste is citrus hops and green apple with little maltiness to speak of. Thin body and slightly watery.
