Very little Amber taste. Still a very light watery beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

bottled - drinkable for what it is. A good beer for an all-nighter or a party. Also a good alternative to Miller Lite and it has more flavor than regular Michelob Ultra.

A light amber beer. Sort of like the regular Michelob Ultra with a touch of caramel for sweetness. Still a little bitter though. Not the smoothest amber out there. Probably won’t be getting this again but glad I had the opportunity to try. Would rather have a regular Michelob Ultra or and Amber Bock instead.

Michelob Ultra Amber has a medium, off-white head, a clear, bubbly, amber appearance, and a few lacing streaks left behind on the glass. The aroma is weak, but mild, sweet roastiness and faint grain can be detected. Taste is also thin, but generalized grain, a ghost of caramel, and the ever so slightest breath of hop bitterness is present. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Michelob Ultra Amber finishes crisp, clean, and refreshing. It’s pretty dull. RJT

Fresh 12oz bottle. Pale light-medium amber, light for an amber but then this is a light beer. Large fizzy head soon reduces to a ring. Smells like a mix of hops and dirt. To be fair it does smell like some English hops, but not appealing. The flavor is better but, of course, very light and mild. ... make that very, very light. Exceptionally light and watery body. Crisp, medium carbonation.

"the "malty, toasted aroma" the brewer describes is there, i suppose, just really hard to find. for what it is, it can be enjoyed, but not if you’re expecting much. A touch darker and maltier than Ultra, but about on the same level...maybe a tad better."

served in a bottle, weak aroma that was mostly non-deScript. the brew did have a slight aroma of hoppiness, This beer is best enjoyed when purely looking for a thirst quencher and not for a beer experience.

Bottle to pint. Looks solid; a transparent copper with eggshell head that steadily dissipates into thin lacing. Smells of caramel and mild bread. Tastes like it smells, but blander. Average on the palate. Okay...by Ultra standards.

Pours a light amber color with a slightly sweet and malty flavor. Next to no lacing....but not a terrible beer. Of the low carb beers, michelob remains consistently better than most.

Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a light amber color with a one finger head of white foam. The fizzy head fades almost instantly leaving almost no lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma of the beer is light overall with it consisting of a mix of caramel with notes of graininess. Along with these smells is a faint whiff of a grassy smell and a bit of fruit. Taste – The taste begins with a very watery flavor with just a hint of a grain and roasted malt. Upfront there is very little sweetness, but as the taste advances a lighter corn sweetness with a hint of caramel comes to the tongue. A very light herbal flavor and some tastes of paper come to the tongue at the very end of the taste, leaving a rather thin and weak amber flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is super thin with a carbonation level that is average. While the thin body is quite expected, a bit higher of carbonation would have been more fitting for the style, creating a more refreshing feel overall. Overall – Don’t expect too much here. But really should you really be expecting tons with a “ultra” low cal beer?
