Light and malty, kind of sweet, not much mouthfeel to it. An easy drinking amber lager. A great tailgate brew you can drink all day.

Bottle. Pours an amber body with a white head. Very thin and light, grainy cereal malts, bread y and lame. I hated it.

Bland attempt from a beer company I do not like. They are however striving for a better beer and I can totally respect that. I was not thrilled with this one.

Overly carbonated and quite watery. It is a Michelob anyways but unlike virtually all light beers this one actually contains hints of malt. Include the fact that it has the ABV of standard domestic brews and you’ll find yourself pleasantly surprised.

An amber beer in the "pale lager" category should tell you everything you need to know about this beer.

Clear amber in color with a white transient head. Aroma mostly indecipherable. A little grass. Flavor is a lightly sweet, lightly malty carbonated water. Crisp finish. I gave it a high overall rating because I knew what I was buying. I’m getting into shape, so I am refraining (for now) from my beloved imperial stouts, double IPAs, and Belgian quads. If I want to minimize my carbohydrates and calories but still enjoy a refreshing beer, this is the obvious choice. If I wanted barleywine body and flavor, I’d buy a barleywine.

12 oz. bottle Another mere placeholder, just four ratings from having a new Best Beer Month Ever!™ Pour is a sort of amber, certainly not a pale lager. Just watery looking. Smell somehow roils with all the odd chemicals you find in a mass processed lite beer. Unpleasant. Taste does improve from the first impressions, though, It’s got some grain, no obvious adjunct, and a slight hop note. They did keep this at a 5% abv, not a common thing in a lite. Hops are enough to keep sweetness in check, and it does go down nice and fizzy. After a bad first impression, it turns out all right for the category.
