Pours a brownish amber color not to deep, with a creamy white head. Has a sweet caramel aroma, but its very light and not overwhelming. Has that rich malty flavor with a weak finish.

Bottle. Pours a cola like brown with a light head. Light drinking, not bad, but nothing too special about it. I think I’ll stick to Amber Bock if I’m drinking Michelob and the holiday packs are not out yet.

Had this one bottled. I think this one is a little underrated, although not by much. Clear red pour with very little head, nose of hops and coffee, and not much else. Not terrible.

Bottle - Will take over Michelob Ultra or light beer any day, but has nothing on Amber Bock. Light tannish color, little to no head. A better attempt by AB to deliiver a tasty beverage with fewer calories.

bottle - Pours clear light amber with a thin, fading head. The malt aroma is light. The flavor was very lacking. It was more malts substantial than the standard Ultra but still weak and had no hops presence to speak of. The body was very thin and watery and the finish seems off somehow, but it’s close enough to water it doesn’t offend too much. I wonder... do the huge American macrobrews just not even try? Do they deliberately make horrible beer? They must.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a clear amber with a creamy, off-white head. Vague aroma of nuts and caramel. Medium body with fairly delicate accents of caramel. Lightly sweet. No aftertaste. But not too bad really. 060406

12oz bottle
Pours a clear amber with a large, foamy head. Slight malty aroma. As opposed to regular Ultra, there is at least a little flavor here. Not a lot, but some. A decent beer if you’re in low-carb mode.

12 oz bottle. Light amber colour, thin white head. Aroma of pale grainy malt and a touch of caramel. Flavour is thin but there is some dark malt character. Some light caramel sweetness and a faint nutty character. Low hop rates and a thin finish, but much better than I expected. The best low-carb I’ve ever tasted.
