Michelob ULTRA Amber is an American-style amber lager that boasts a beautifully rich, dark-amber color with a full-bodied, malty taste that also is low in calories and carbohydrates.

12 oz bottle: Pours a nice copper color with a fizzy almost non existant head. Some carbonation remains throughout. Aroma is nearly non exsitant as well. The flavor isnít too bad. Its like the regular Utlra with a faint hint of malt somewhere in there.

I had to try it. Faint malt cereal taste. Strictly for those looking for a low calorie buzz or to wash down some spicy food. A bit of a unpleasant metallic aftertaste.

Exactly like the regular ultra, but darker. Well, maybe there is just a little more bread notes, or maybe my mind is playing tricks on me because it is just darker in color. Anyway, just a poor excuse for an amber beer.

Bottle, poured a faint copper fizzy white head the vanished quickly. For some reason this sounded good to me, but it tasted like every other Michelob product, just a different color. It had the exact same sour taste and fizzy mouthfeel. Definitely not worth the premium price I paid for it.

On tap at a local bar. The body was light copper with a foamy white head. The aroma was grainy like a breakfast cereal. There was also a little soap and cheap white bread crust. The taste was very light white bread with some hints of grass. This is very light, nothng offensive, just bland.

OK, Iím an addict beer rater when I buy this just to rate it. But it surprisingly wasnít that bad. It has a true amber color with moderate activity and a big but very quickly subsiding head. It has a bit of the corn-starchiness standard to big macros, but itís relatively smooth and passable. Best thing I can say: not disgusting.

This wasnít too bad to drink for an extremely light beer. For having in quantity and for a decent price, this beer would be okay.

Yahooo....nothing perks the spirits upon arriving at a big Mardi Gras party then opening the cooler for a cold one and finding this.....sheesh. Pours, surprise!...an actual amber colored liquid. Fizzy, smallish white head dissipates quickly. Light malts and bottle funk in the nose....yep itís related to the other Mich Ultra, no question about it. Thin, thin mouthfeel...weak. If you try hard to barely detect some table sugar, light malts and other hints that they tried to make beer. Like a previous rater says, "...it is what it is." Yep, and that ainít good.
