Michelob ULTRA Amber is an American-style amber lager that boasts a beautifully rich, dark-amber color with a full-bodied, malty taste that also is low in calories and carbohydrates.

12 oz bottle. Pours amber with some white head and a soda like carbonation. Nose is similar to lemonade. Body is thin and watery. Taste includes some sweetness followed by an abrupt dryness. Nice sinkhole beer.

Malt spice and skunky in aroma. The flavor is much the same and rather thin in body. Not exceptional, not nasty though.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a caramel-nut color with a medium sized foamy yellow-white head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was faintly dry and nutty with a tangy undertone. The flavor was dry, nutty and dusty. A tangy off citrus presence came out underneath. The finish was short, dry, nutty and a bit off. Light and watery body. Poor effort.

355mL at a tailgate for the FSU Miami game. Thanks crew! Pours a clear light amber with a miniscule suddy white head. No real formation. Nose is absent completely. Taste is watery with small sugar almost impossible to distinguish from Bud Light. Big carbonation. Refreshing at least. Better just drink water and then take a shot of vodka if you are trying to watch calories at the same time as getting drunk.

Bottle. Pours a clear, pale amber. Aroma of light grains and something unnatural I can’t quite place. Watery with hints of caramel, toasted malts/grain and a touch of grassy hops. Not horrible but mostly tasteless.

12 floz bottle from Walmart. It isn’t the worse beer I’ve ever tasted. pale, clear, frothy.

Bottle. The tiniest hint better than its brethren Michelob Ultra. This beer is nonetheless an utter disaster. A few funny Superbowl commercials do not make up for this travesty of a beverage.

This is def. my favorite Light beer. It is slightly malty and goes down very smooth.

It poured a clear light amber color with a small off-white head. The aroma was of light caramel and maltiness. The taste was of dry caramel and grain flavor.

Reviewed from notes. Pours a moderate amber brown with a slight off white head. Leaves behind a tad bit of lacing. Nose brings forth some amber malt and grain husks. Taste is pretty weak. Really not much going on here. Feel is light; too light. Drinks okay and is one of the better $4.99 six packs around, but nothing too special. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 10-08-2010
