oldrtybastrd (1801), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA Oct 30, 2008 Pours a little darker than most american lagers. Aromas of corn, hops, and you know the rest. Flavor is a little more pronounced in this lager. Just a bit more flavor than most. SkyCop32 (286), Morlautern, Germany Oct 28, 2008 This is not bad for what it is, light lager. The amber color is nice and you can actually taste carmel or malt and carbonation which dominates most of the taste. If light is you, then it is OK, not for me. Trooper11 (464), Suffolk, Virginia, USA Oct 22, 2008 Highly filtered copper/amber brew. very clear. Aroma is malty grass, notes of fresh bread. NIce bitter begining, fading to a carbonated malty light corn syrup. ericandersnavy (1039), crossroads, Texas, USA Oct 3, 2008 poured a very faint amber color. with aroma of some malt. flavor.....same with a tiny amount of bittering. overall pretty much what i expected from knowing what the regular ultra tastes like. DrSamPHD (60), Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA Oct 1, 2008 Bought a 12 pack tonight, never tried it and was looking for a macrobrew. Poors a dark orange with a thin white head. Goes down smooth, but not something i will purchase again. emacgee (1859), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA Sep 27, 2008 Pours an almost copper with a decent level of carbonation. Frothy white head. The smell is malty, bready, a little cardboad, grassy metallic hops. The flavor is bready, a little sweet, grassy, easy to drink. hero12 (58), USA Sep 19, 2008 Poured a dark orange with a slight caramel nose. Smooth and warm palate with a bland taste that finishes hardly bitter. The beer was much better than I expected. Bungalo22 (326), Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA Sep 6, 2008 Poured from the bottle an off orange color with a small white head. Smells a bit tin-like and malty. It is smooth but watery and a bit skunky on the palate. Not so good.
