This certainly will not rock your world, but you actually will taste something more than just water with this beer. Tastes like an amber beer should, but with about half the effect. Even has a nice alcohol content for a light beer, though you would hardly notice it. puboflyons (601), New Hampshire, USA

It had an Apr ’08 born on date but I forgot the exact date. Poured a light copper color with a little fizz. A little grassy in the aroma but not unappealing. Watered down. Some element of malts. It wasn’t terrible. subcell (95), Portsmouth, Virginia, USA

Near medium with fizzy, near creamy, carbonation. It has caramel flavor. Arguably just a touch of hop bitter. It goes down surprisingly well. Finishes caramel with a little grain, and hop that has to be imagined - there is some bitterness. It’s actually refreshing when it first hits the mouth; the finish is a bit too herby/grainy. Still, this may be the best American macro. I certainly can’t remember thinking good things about a mainline A-B brew until this one. punkeedo (465), San Antonio, Texas, USA

You eventually forget you’re drinking this beer, as there is nothing that stands out about it. Very light malty flavor, with a slightly metallic alcohol aftertaste. Light aroma of alcohol. Not much more to talk about here. jb (1035), Rochester, New York, USA

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 14, 2008 Confusing beer, as lots of people in the beer world say "amber" when they mean a reddish light brown color, whereas this beer is more like the color of fossilized tree sap. I could actually drink this if not for one small fact... I LIKE beer. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA
