Still exhibits excellent carbonation, a large quantity of slow rising bubbles, after the foam has settled.. Tastes like mic ultra with a barley malt flavor addition. Hops and prevalent, and decent quaity. Body is somewhat thin and watery. Finish is malty, and I don’t care much for that compared to the original mic. ultra. A hell of a deal for your diet at 5% though. Did you take that into consideration? MaltDawg (778), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jun 2, 2008 12 oz. brown bottle. Clear golden amber with almost no head. Very light caramel malt notes and a bit of grainey (corn) aroma. Well carbonated with some light caramel and malt flavor. Touch of hop bitterness to balance. Light fizzy mouthfeel with dry unremarkable finish. Light refreshing fairly drinkable. Bill86 (43), Tennessee, USA

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | May 29, 2008 Pours a clear light amber with decent white head. Grainy aroma. Malty and toasty flavor. Not horrable, but far from great. ChainGangGuy (2555), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | May 27, 2008 Appearance: Pours a woeful, watery-looking, light copper body with a scant, white head that fizzles out in seconds.
Smell: Very vague pale maltiness with a hint of sour green apple.
Taste: Toasty malts, though fairly weak and bland. Mild sweetness. No hop character whatsoever. Odd, underlying ickiness about the taste and, again, there’s that green apple taste which I really, really don’t care for. Faux apples on the otherwise watery finish.
Mouthfeel: Thin-bodied. Medium carbonation. Watery.
Drinkability: Not recommended. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA
