Not bad for what it is..a low alcohol-low carb beer. Some roasted malt flavor comes through with almost no hop character. Smoothness and not overly carbed makes it go down real fast.

Bottle. Pours a crystal clear light amber color with a thin white head. Taste is super watery and light. It is technically beer, though not a terribly appealing one.

Bottle. Light watery malt aroma - close to no aroma. Clear copper with a small off-white head. Malt flavored water. Light watery body, moderate carbonation.

Best American low carb beer I’ve found, although way too light and watered down to compare with real beers. If strict diet I’ll drink it, otherwise better beers for me.

Michelob doesn’t do a dark beer justice with this amber beer, but it isn’t terrible either. It is a light beer that’s trying to be a dark beer, the two just don’t go together unless of course you’re watching that waistline. Overall its smooth and has some good flavor.

Pours a light amber color with a short lived soapy white head. The aroma is of a rather light malt with a slight skunky sent to it.The flavor was of a sour malt taste. The body was thin with a funky aftertaste.Overall not a good beer.

From bottle. Pours a clear light brown color. The taste is mostly water with a hint of malts. I suppose if you are watching your calories this could be a good choice, but if that’s the case just give me a whiskey straight up.

Bottle. By far the best of the ultra lite beers. Most flavor of any of them. If you are into very lite beers this is the way to go.

Bottle from Happy Harry’s in Fargo, ND. Clear light amber pour with a small white head. Very light and thin - just a little bit of caramel and nut in this. Bland.

Pours clear, slightly reddish dark amber. Small, off-white head. Scent is a little caramel, malt. Taste is watery malt......actually a little nut flavour....somehow. Very watery and flat. Incredibly weak.....

I’m honestly going to cut and paste what I wrote as a review for the original ultra. Sorry, but this is honestly the same thing as the regular ultra but with some caramel coloring. Here you go: "Nothing special about this one (should I have thought differently?). Pale golden color. Watered down AB aroma. Taste is pretty much the same. One less beer to rate." - Rob H
