I was pleasantly surprised by this. It was gasy, and watery, and too light, and not filling, but the flavor was better than any other commercial beer by Michelob, Miller, Coors, or Bud. That is not saying much, but hey. This option is much better than the regular Ultra. That is not saying a whole lot, but the taste and after taste are much more fulfilling.

served in a bottle, weak aroma that was mostly non-descript. the brew did have a slight aroma of hoppiness, This beer is best enjoyed when purely looking for a thirst quencher and not for a beer experience.

Bottle to pint. Looks solid; a transparent copper with eggshell head that steadily dissipates into thin lacing. Smells of caramel and mild bread. Tastes like it smells, but blander. Average on the palate. Okay...by Ultra standards.

Pours a light amber color with a slightly sweet and malty flavor. Next to no lacing....but not a terrible beer. Of the low carb beers, michelob remains consistently better than most.

Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a light amber color with a one finger head of white foam. The fizzy head fades almost instantly leaving almost no lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma of the beer is light overall with it consisting of a mix of caramel with notes of graininess. Along with these smells is a faint whiff of a grassy smell and a bit of fruit. Taste – The taste begins with a very watery flavor with just a hint of a grain and roasted malt. Upfront there is very little sweetness, but as the taste advances a lighter corn sweetness with a hint of caramel comes to the tongue. A very light herbal flavor and some tastes of paper come to the tongue at the very end of the taste, leaving a rather thin and weak amber flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is super thin with a carbonation level that is average. While the thin body is quite expected, a bit higher of carbonation would have been more fitting for the style, creating a more refreshing feel overall. Overall – Don’t expect too much here. But really should you really be expecting tons with a “ultra” low cal beer?

It has a medium amber color with good clarity and a thin white head. The head fades to just a small ring of bubbles around the glass and it leaves very little lace on the glass. The aroma has a light clean malty character with some light alcohol esters. It has a light bready malt with a slight sweetness. The hops are very neutral and offer very little to the overall flavor. Its palate is light with smooth watery texture and mild fizzy carbonation. Its finish is light and clean. Overall it has a simple clean flavor with a light body that’s easy drinking.

Aw man, do I really have to say something on this. Fine, though I’m not thrilled, here goes. It was poured in a pint glass for the three times I’ve had it. The appearance was actually a fairly decent looking amber color with a ton of carbonation rising into the white foamy head. The head must have died within a good twenty seconds. There wasn’t any lacing whatsoever. The smell had some cooked caramel malts and that was about it. The taste was sweet and once again that was about it, no aftertaste and no finish. The palate, it sat pretty light and actually showed a decent sessionable quality about it. Overall, there was nothing that even remotely thrilled me about this beer. Though sessionable and it didn’t have anything offensive about it on the palate, well, for the most part, its just not something I’d seek again.

Had this after running a half-marathon. They were giving it out free. Really just water with some color and carbs added.

Bottle. Pale golden/amber with a tiny white head. Scent is cereal, grass and something "off". Taste is grainy.
