Came as part of a mix-n-match case with a $15 rebate. This was the weakest of the four six-packs, the others being dunkelweizen, porter, & pale ale. Its not terrible, its just lame as a three legged dog. Pale amber beer with a fizzy white head. Faint aroma of pale malt. Flavor of weak amber malt mixed with seltzer water. No hops, no finish. How they get 5% ABV from a beer this flavorless is beyond me. Maybe it works as a girlie beer or a fat-boy beer, but it doesn’t work for me.

Bottle. Pours an amber body with a white head. Very thin and light, grainy cereal malts, bread y and lame. I hated it.

12 ounce twist off bottle with born on date 01/26/06 – Poured into a pint glass to give it a shot at forming a head. Amazingly it did. It was about a half inch high, but dissipated quickly leaving a layer of foam on top. The color is a clear light brown, no red tints at all. Aroma is almost nonexistent which is probably a good thing for this beer. The taste is there though. It’s sweet and well that’s about it. At least regular Ultra has the good taste not to have a taste. I’d rather have the regular Ultra.

(Tap) Pours amber without much head at all. Light palate, with a corn syrupy taste from start to finish. Nothing complex here at all. Not a big fan of this one.

Basically the same as the regular miche’ ultra, with a slightly amber apearance, and slightly more beer flavor. For some reason it seams to be more filling though.Also, leaves an almost filmy feeeling on the palate.

light mahogany pour with medium white head that lingers a bit with a bit of lacing. That’s really the main characteristic of this beer. It’s a bit better than most American macro light lagers. But a ’bit’ is just not enough unless you’re on some kind of low cal diet. And if that’s the case, drink vodka if you need booze or just water...

Amber color, no real foam. Malty, caramel, sweet smell. Has a caramelish, weet malty taste, not a good one though, really just all malt not balanced at all. I’d never get this again.

Dear lord. Tried this at a wedding where the only other options were Winter’s Bourbon Cask Ale and Budweiser. Tried the Winter’s Bourbon first and it was awful. I figured this might be the only time in my life that I try Mich Ultra Amber, so I gave it a shot. It wasn’t any better. No need for a detailed description here. Just know that it sucks.
