The beer is a clear golden color with a compact white head that gives up the ghost quickly. Minimal lacing. Faint grainy malt aroma. Light seltzer water body with light grain and malt flavors. The finish is absolutely flavorless unless you call bubbles a flavor. Truly a beer for people who do not like beer. hopscotch (5558), Vero Beach, Florida, USA

Let’s go swillin’ since the cold & flu medicine is providing no relief for my aching head and body... Clear, amber lager with a small, creamy, white head. Excellent retention... Ok, they got all that right! Looks so good, I can’t wait to smell it... should’ve waited. Earthy, lightly malty aroma with notes of black pepper and about fifty varieties of hops forced together in an unholy marriage. I really CAN wait to taste this one, but here goes... not so good. A touch malty for a low-carb beer. Otherwise, medicinal and then, even more medicinal. I can’t describe it as well as I would like, but I can say that it’s not much better than the cough syrup I’ve been living on the past few days. Light-bodied and creamy actually, with fizzy carbonation. Finishes a tad too sweet and, again, medicinal. Poor choice of remedies on my part. However, I’m going to give it a few points for actually tasting like beer instead of seltzer water... bad beer, but beer nonetheless. I’m going to chase this one quickly with a Troeg’s Nugget Nectar and Victory Hop Wallop. Those will surely cure my ills! mkobes (2104), paramus, New Jersey, USA

Really nasty corn and corn syrup flavor. I found it just hard to drink and unpleasant. Not well made at all. I hate corn anyway, and this really reminded me of nasty creamed corn. | 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Mar 6, 2006 Bottle, poured a faint copper fizzy white head the vanished quickly. For some reason this sounded good to me, but it tasted like every other Michelob product, just a different color. It had the exact same sour taste and fizzy mouthfeel. Definitely not worth the premium price I paid for it. TerryR (383), Oswego, Illinois, USA
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Feb 7, 2006 Slight aroma of malt. Very light amber in color with a white head that quickly vanished. Light body. Virtually no finish. bourne (161), Suwon, South Korea

| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Jun 25, 2006 A poor excuse for a light beer, although admittedly it’s better than some. There is a bit more richness to the malt flavour than in some light beers. I would not guess this was an ultra-light by the taste, but this doesn’t mean it’s any good. Carbonation is too weak. No bitterness, no crispness. As you drink more, a chemical aftertaste develops, which is very unpleasant. Bottom line: not a good beer.
