Michelob ULTRA Lime Cactus has an exotic fruity aroma with a clean citrus finish. Drink Michelob ULTRA Fruit Lime Cactus with bold ethnic fare such as a spicy chorizo-based dish or carne asada tacos because the beer balances the dishes’ heat and brings out the subtle black pepper smokiness. It also pairs well with seafood.

Bottle to pint. Looks subparagraph; a completely transparent lighter gold with white head that steadily dissipates quickly and entirely. Smells like a cheap adjunct with an artificial like presence. Tastes like it smells with what I assume is cactus? Average (at best) on the palate. Fail, but not as bad as its mean indicates.

This has 95 calories and 5.5 grams of carbohydrates per serving. That is its selling point, just FYI. If you want a beer w/ those specs, this is your guy. It tastes like an extremely light Lime-A-Rita which is to say it is like lime Kool Aid mixed w/ seltzer water. If this is an indication of what cactus tastes like in beer then cactus tastes like nothing because i’m not getting anything from it. There are worse Michelob Ultras but also better ones. This one is pretty middle of the road as far as that goes.

12 oz. bottle at the Anheuser-Busch Biergarten. Pours a pale, clear gold with a small white head. Tons of artificial lime flavoring, and not much else. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a mouthfeel of a beverage completely characterized by artificial sweetener. Crisp, dry lingering cactus finish.

Bottle - Artificial lime and sweetness, think bar lime. Very pale gold with a good white head. Lime soda without any redeeming tartness.

355ml clear bottle. Pale appearance. Flavor is mostly soapy lime. Miss. The mango ritalime a Rita slushie is better.

Bottle at StL brewery. Pours a very clear light yellow with large white head. Taste is weird tartness with a very dry finish. Just weird.

The head is bright white in color, fizzy and fades out quickly leaving no head. Its body is pale and light yellow in color with excellent clarity. The aroma has a mild citrus lime with light grains and something that reminds me of aloe. Its flavor has mild lime citrus and light grains on a smooth slippery palate. The carbonation is balanced to the light body and the finish is crisp and dry.

Light gold, strong lime smell and taste. Don’t know about the cactus But it beats the other Big Name lime beers

Touting "Lime Cactus" flavors, Michelob seems determined to give you the worst of both flavors. The carbonation is cactus-like in its prickliness and the citrus flavors are bitter and unrefined. I love Michelob’s claim that this beer is appropriate for pairing with food. Reading the inflated deScription of the beer is far more enjoyable than drinking it.

As a limeade is pretty drinkable... but don’t tell me this is a beer. For those days on the beach that you want a sangria and you don’t have wine or citrus fruits at hand, maybe and only for those hot days, I’ll grab another one of these
