COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Michelob ULTRA Lime Cactus has an exotic fruity aroma with a clean citrus finish. Drink Michelob ULTRA Fruit Lime Cactus with bold ethnic fare such as a spicy chorizo-based dish or carne asada tacos because the beer balances the dishes’ heat and brings out the subtle black pepper smokiness. It also pairs well with seafood.

Tallahassee, Fl. - Publix Supermarket - 12 oz bottle. Light golden pour with a very quickly fading fizzy white head - looks lifeless. Faint lime kool-aid aroma. Some lime in the flavor with some faint ripening vegetable notes in the back end. Like other ultra AB products, the mouthfeel is too spritzy and unbeer like. Was hoping this would be a bit more refreeshing - ssomething to guzzle down after mowing the yard, but the spritziness leaves you gasping. Miller’s got them beat with thier ’Chill’ in the ’Corona with a lime in it knockof’" market.

Much like the other beers in this series there is very little beer to the aroma or the taste. It mostly a lime soda smell with some alcohol. The appearance is just pale gold with a fizzy head that falls really fast. The flavor is not offensive it’s pretty much like the aroma. The is a little saltiness to it and I am not sure if it is the cactus since I have no idea what a cactus tastes like. The palate is watery. This is hardly a beer, and those who say it’s a flavored malt beverage are right on.

Clear "color". Aroma that is a dead on match for Rose’s Lime Juice. Tastes like rancid wheat mixed with decade old lime juice. "Pilsner beer with natural flavor"? Summoning the devil to piss into a bottle you can sell is not natural, nor is this "beer".

Labeled as Michelob Ultra Lime Cactus. I was so pumped for the opportunity to be the 1st rater of an A-B product and a Lime imbued "beer" at that but then has I searched the drain pour section I discover this "beer" is under 9th Street Market, whatever the heck that is...then I opened the bottle (bought as a single) and poured it into my pint glass: Grassy light golden hue with a quickly disappearing fizzy head and zero lace. The aroma smells just like a lemon-lime soda which in itself is not so bad but alas this is suppose to be a beer right? I guess if really take a deep inhale I can pick out some soapy pale malt and a hint of cactus juice. Weeeeee....

The taste is gosh darn AWFUL, think of an OLD CAN of ginger ale with a squeeze of lime. There is little else I can say but to AVOID this crap at all cost. Clearly aimed at the flavored wine cooler crowd. I took one for the team!

Formerly known as 9th Street Market Lime & Cactus, it is now Michelob Ultra Lime & Cactus. Single bottle sampled at Cellars Wine & Spirits in St Paul, MN. Pours a clear light green tinted water with lots of bubbles. Aroma is that of Rose’s Lime Juice with some popcorn. Taste? Oh no... They put a lime in a Michelob and I drank it all up. They put a lime in a Michelob and I drank it all up. They put a lime in a Michelob and I drank it all up. They put a lime in a Michelob and I called the doctor and woke him up saying... Doctor, is there something I can take. I said, Doctor, to relieve this awful tummy ache. I said, Doctor! is there something I can take. I said, Doctor, to relieve this awful tummy ache. The doctor said, "Now let me get this straight!" You have a lime in a Michelob and you drank it all up. You have a lime in a Michelob and you drank it all up. You have a lime in a Michelob and then you woke me up. Sigh! The doctor then said, You’re such a silly person, that lime in a Michelob is not what you put together. Drink some Surly Furious and then you’ll feel better. Take that lime in a Michelob and dump it down the drain. Toss out that lime in a Michelob and then call me in the morning. Ooh ooh, ooh ooh ohh...

A fancier version of the horrible Tequiza, and not quite so bad. For a flavored lager, not one of the worst offerings but those who enjoy it would probably prefer flavored malt beverages.

Bottle. Pours a light golden color. Aroma is a little watery with a hint of lime. Light lime flavor kind of like a Sprite, but not as flavorful. Drinkable. Not really good for a beer. It is more like a light spritzer.

UPDATED: AUG 10, 2007 GABF 05. Pours yellow with a definite citrus aroma. Flavor is citrusy, like a Sprite but heavy on the lime. Where the cactus comes in I’m not sure; maybe in the finish, as it’s kinda grassy and rounded, as I remember a prickly pear cactus tasting. Watery palate. In a blind taste test, I’m sure most people would like it. I do, and I knew what it was and who made it. So there!

No lime for me please. Pure shittiness that only A-B can make. Lime and cactus dont go together.
