COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Michelob ULTRA Lime Cactus has an exotic fruity aroma with a clean citrus finish. Drink Michelob ULTRA Fruit Lime Cactus with bold ethnic fare such as a spicy chorizo-based dish or carne asada tacos because the beer balances the dishesí heat and brings out the subtle black pepper smokiness. It also pairs well with seafood.

Bottle. Pours a clear very pale yellow gold body with a fizzy white head that lingered as a sickly thin film. The nose is super sweet smelling with tons of lime and a weird sugary sweet candy like note that I guess is cactus? The flavor is so much worse than the other two lime beers Iím having. They at least just taste like watered down lime juice, this is like super sugary lime flavored candy. The finish just lingers on forever, gross. Fizzy and thin, yet sticky and clingy on the finish. This is by far much worse than either Bud Light Lime and Labatt Blue Light Lime that Iím drinking this next to.

match1112 with the this stellar extra. 12 oz bottle into a tulip glass. A - Pours a clear amber body looking very much like a basic AAL. Some soapy edging with minimal lacing. S - Artificial lime juice and a very off putting chemical aroma. Not sure if its the "cactus" or just some skunked beer. Its fruity, fake, and kind of offensive. T - Better. Skunked beer with an artificial lime finish as well as a gummy bear like sweetness. Its drinkable enough. O - This is different than most lime beers, namely Bud Light Lime. I suppose its that cactus edge giving it some extra agave nectar sweetness. I understand that most beers have a purpose, even crappy or fruited ones. I just canít imagine anyone buying this for enjoyment. Its just not that good.

Tickets gotta tick. Smells like canned corn + lime. Bland base lends itself to allowing the artificial cactus flavor center stage. Minimally limey on the palate. Actually pours with head & lace -- and retains them both! Far better than expected.

Clear and crisp. This "beer" tastes like lime, but I was curious if it was a beer or a wine cooler.

Pours a pale yellow straw color with quickly disappearing fizzy white head. Aroma is ginger ale and old potato. As much body as club soda and taste a bit of lime and paper sack, which is actually a touch better than it sounds. Basically drink it cold out of the bottle after a 2 hour bike ride and youíll be more satisfied.

Bottle. Pours a clear dark golden color with a smallish white head. This falls under the "drink it once so that I never have to drink it again" category. Itís pretty bad. Somewhat like toilet water with lime in it.

Bottle. Sweet tart artificial lime aroma. Clear pale gold with a moderate white head. Watery lime malt flavor. Light watery body, moderate carbonation.

Tastes like a bud mixed with a crappy margarita. Tangy and citrus sweet. Light hop character.

Clear gold, white head. Scent is primarily swet lime juice. Taste is imitation-lime and water. Iíll be generous....while itís not very beer-like, it is more drinkable than the other "limed" offerings out there.... Probably due to the apparent lack of beer.

Michelob Ultra Lime Cactus has a thin, white head and a clear, very bubbly, straw appearance with almost no lacing. The aroma is of lime flavor and faint grain. Taste is mostly of water, with some lime and a shade of grain underneath. There is no bitterness to speak of with this. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Michelob Ultra Lime Cactus finishes crisp, clean, and refreshing, and it has maximum drinkability. Overall, those who enjoy very light beers with adore this, while beer aficionados will hate it. RJT
