zach8270 (2051), Henrietta, New York, USA Oct 21, 2009 (bottle - 12 oz) Clear gold with a fizzy white head. Aroma is light and fruity with some very slight hints of raspberry. Couldn’t really smell the pomegranate. Flavor begins with a nice and sweet fruity flavor but disappears into a dry and grassy middle. A fruity blast comes at the middle of dry and fake pomegranate but finishes with a grassy and corny flavor. FlssmrBrewAlum (1079), Lisle, Illinois, USA Oct 13, 2009 Sampled at the Tap Room (Chicago, IL) compliments of Katie and Clint. Blind tasting. Pours a yellow clear pour, small bright white carbonation driven head that dies quickly, barely films or clings to the corners. Aromas are red berries, sweeter sugary appeal, stale grains, and a touch of skunkiness. Not too great. Initial is the same, red cough syrup sweetness and harshness, no natural fruit, all artificial candy cough drop flavor with stale cereal grains, a touch of skunkiness, and water. The flavors die out, with a bit of harsh cough syrup remaining on the palate. Not one for the books. Rciesla (3500), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA Oct 6, 2009 Mix a 6, this had the best aroma of them all. Still the same pale golden body white head, but a nicer pome and raz aroma while still light even in the aroma, its a disappointment that this faint but pleasantry didn’t carry into the flavor. MadIndian (987), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 23, 2009 odd attempt at a fruit beer from a company I do not like. They are however striving for a better beer and I can totally respect that.
Not my style but it was ok for michelob Fratto (670), Arlington, Texas, USA Sep 17, 2009 Six pack, sadly. Awful. Doesnt’ taste like either fruit and is still Michelob Ultra. drowland (1360), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Aug 25, 2009 Oh boy... Michelob Ultra isn’t that great to begin with, but when you add overly sweet fruit, and too much of it to boot... just gross. OzarkElmo (117), Poplar Bluff, Missouri, USA Aug 16, 2009 Bottle pour into shaker Aug. 14, 2009. Pours mostly pale yellow with very thin white head. At least there was some aroma to this - basically a water light beer with flavor added. Not too bad after 18 holes of golf on a hot summer day. Not much here, but it was better than regular Ultra or B. Light. JediMindTricks (240), Hampton, Virginia, USA Aug 16, 2009 Pale yellow body with a thin white head. The aroma is exactly what you would expect, raspberries with a hint of the pomegranate. There is not much else to smell. The taste is light raspberry with some hints of flower petals.
