Had a bottle of this some time in September 07. One of my friends had this so I gave it a shot.
Fizzy, alcopop appearance. Color as pictured to the left. No head/lacing. Clear.
Smells like brewing flaws. Vanillin, wax, corn-like notes. A touch of rancid raspberry. Not particularly offensive in the nose, just smells like a poorly brewed, fruity alcopop. Weak nose strength, no alcohol noted.
Flavor is full of papery acetyldehyde, with streaks of artificial flavored sweetness. Yum. Nothing redeeming here. Flawed and with an artificial, cloying sweetness on the finish. Fizzy. I want more pomegranate.

The slightly less terrible brother of lime cactus. aroma wasnt so watered down but just smelled like some kind of pomegranate candy. taste is water downed sprite with artificial sweetener and than that light raspberry and pomegranate. body was carbonated water. i actual put myself through the pain of finishing this one.

A yellow apperance with a fading white head. The aroma is actually pretty nice with some raspberries, pomegranate, and cherries. The fruit is pretty mild in this. I get a hint of the advertised pomegranate and raspberries but the swill aspect rears its ugly head. A definite corn presence on the tounge. The mouthfeel is weak and carbonated. Overall beats some swill but nothing to seek out

Same deal here, 12 oz. Bottle. Very fizzy fruity water. Light aroma and mild sweet flavor. I’m not sure I can taste pomegranate in there. On the other hand I don’t know what pomegranate tastes like.

I was rather impressed with this beer. Fruit beers rarely satisfy but this one was a cut above most. Its aroma was nice and full of raspberry. People around me noticed it with appreciation. Flavor was also full of raspberry. A bit of bitterness as well.

Bottle… Clear, straw-colored lager with a small, fizzy, white head. Decent retention. Fruity, raspberry nose. Sweet, thin, raspberry flavor. Light-bodied with fizzy carbonation. Crisp, gently sweet, fruity finish.

12oz bottle poured in a pilsener glass (yes, I AM being optimistic.) Somebody melted down watermelon Jolly Ranchers and brewed beer out of them. At least that’s what it smells like. The aroma is extremely strong. There is nothing subtle about this beer’s nose. If this beer was a person it would be Jewish! It looks liek any other marco-brewed pale lager. It is light straw colored with a giant artificial looking head. The taste is surprisingly non-offensive considering the smell. There is no body to speak of (expected from a Michelob Ultra) and the taste is almost saved by the pomegranate. With the pomegranate the raspberry would be overwhelming pushing this syrupy artificial beer straight into the realm of Smirnoff Twisters and other such malt beverages. This is a drain pour but barely, oh so barely, better than the cactus lime version.

tastes like unsweetened raspberry tea, the only thing close to resembling beer is the color. Sure to be a big hit with high school kids
