Michelob ULTRA Pomegranate Raspberry delivers a unique berry aroma that finishes with a hint of pomegranate. Drink Michelob ULTRA Fruit Pomegranate Raspberry with marinated pork and fresh vegetables. The subtle hint of berry in the beer plays off the tenderness of the meat.
Formerly known as 9th Street Market Pomegranate Raspberry.

Sweet, sugar-fruit aroma. The first flavor is sparking water followed by cherry cough syrup. Its not as bad as it could be.

Memo to self: Never share beer with other beer raters that is known to be a drain pourer. Picked up single bottle from Cellar’s Wine & Spirits in St Paul, MN. Pours a thin golden yellow brew itha a fizzy white head that dissolves fast. Aroma has chemical tartness, some Asti Spumanti carbonation scent and a whiff of dead fish. Taste is tart with a watery finish. Not as bad as the Lime Cactus version but still close to the drain pour catagory.

UPDATED: MAY 24, 2007 Thank you to skyview for this sample. I think ;)>. Chemically raspberry pomegranate smell. Light yellow color with fizzy yellow head. Foul fruity chemical taste at the beginning, followed by the taste of rancid beer.

The aroma is pretty much just a raspberry soda with a touch of pomegranate and malt. The appearance is pale gold with a fizzy head that becomes absolutely nonexistent in about 15 seconds. The flavor is fruity with raspberry and corn malt but its hard to find the pomegranate. The palate is watery and the finish dry. This is not really a beer and it’s not sweet enough to be a fruit drink. Basically this is nothing but a fruity smell.

Pale yellow body with a thin white head. The aroma is exactly what you would expect, raspberries with a hint of the pomegranate. There is not much else to smell. The taste is light raspberry with some hints of flower petals. There is also some rice cake character. This is pretty light and easy going. This is a bit more sweet than the Tuscan Orange version. Not terrible.

Poured the typical translucent gold color, very little if any head at all. Fizzy nose, some fruitiness, but seems very artificial. Some light malt in the flavor, but it leans heavily on that crappy raspberry flavoring...forget about the pomegranates. Another novelty gone awry. Thin bodied, finishes as bad as it starts. Yuck.

GABF 05. Pours clear yellow with a raspberry and faint hops aroma. Flavor is like a diet raspberry soda. Watery palate. I’ll stick to diet raspberry sodas and avoid the hangover.

The beer emerges from the 12-ounce clear bottle a clear gold color with a bright white frothy head that disappears faster than my paycheck and the lace thinner than my hair. Nose is sweet with hints of overripe raspberries and a touch of pomegranates, crisp and clean, start is cloyingly sweet with little malt presence, and the top cadaverous in feel. Finish is acidic and the hops hidden under all the sweetness, dry sweet aftertaste sticks to your palate like the IRS at tax time.
