kiefdog (1567), Tampa, Florida, USA Jan 25, 2009 12oz bottle from Total Wine (Tampa, FL). Pours a crystal clear light yellow color with a thin tan head. Aroma is sweet and fruity with notes of fresh ripe fruit, soda pop, sweet candy, bubblegum, candy sugar, medicinal notes as well. Flavor is sweet and fruit as well with cough syrup and medicinal notes and overtones of fruity ashtray and funk. Light-bodied with a thin finish. Gypsy19 (603), California, USA Jan 17, 2009 Pours a light yell - oh wait - no pour necessary. A light yellow, fizzy Kool-Aid-meets-cheap lager concoction. Though not as soda-pop-sweet as a wine cooler, this is still a novelty beer, yet now that I think about it is actually slightly better than typical American piss lager. This beer deserves no elaboration about its non-existent complexities or character. At least I might get a buzz near the end of the 6-pack. Overall, poor to fair; I’ve had worse. jaid6 (26), Ohio, USA Jan 13, 2009 This is such a girly beer but i like it verry fruity and carbonated good on a hot summers day lithy (1600), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Dec 22, 2008 Clear darkish yellow-brown with a big fizzy white head. Mostly syrupy raspberry aroma. Taste is also very sweet, raspberry cough syrup. Lots of artificial flavor, no beer flavor. ehhdayton (1113), USA Dec 2, 2008 Pours a weak strawlike color with a fizzy white head the goes away almost as rapidly as you pour the beer. Has a fruity aroma. Flavor is weak where any beer taste is concerned. There is a fruity alka-seltzer like taste however that leaves a slight metalic taste at the end. thenick (742), North Bellmore, New York, USA Nov 17, 2008 Updated: Nov 18, 2008Bottle. Um.....this is just a mess and a terrible attempt at the style. Tasted like candy...weak weak weak. nqualls (1429), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Nov 3, 2008 Bottle. Poured a clear yellow with a one finger white head. Aroma of raspberry jolly ranchers. Flavor was bubbly with some tart fruity notes. bubbleflubber (885), Collinsville, Virginia, USA Nov 2, 2008 Pours straw yellow into the glass, with a soda-esque head that goes away quickly. The aromas of candied cherries and raspberries are, again, picked up in the means of a fruity soda. Very underdone macro wheat, corn and grain notes lie underneath a fruity seltzer. The mouthfeel is almost overcarbonated, letting any residual flavors and the entire finish die an untimely death. Without invoking the ’’Zima’’ name, it honestly reminds me of a raspberry seltzer.... not great for a brew.
