I’m not sure what a tuscan Orangeis supposed to taste like, but this is probably the best of the three flavored Ultras. krysztofar (344), belleville, Illinois, USA

| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Sep 11, 2007 Bottled as "Michelob Ultra Tuscan Orange Grapefruit", Born on 7/7/07. Poured clear bright golden with a dusting of white head. The aroma picked up sickeningly sweet orange and grapefruit meat (mostly grapefruit) on a pale malt base. The flavor had more artificial sweetener than the nose, accenting orange and grapefruit notes.. light pale malt and wheaty base. Very light-bodied and spritzy on the palate (enough to make it hard to drink).. artificially-sweetened blood oranges on the short finish. Not much going for it. dp (512), uniontown, Ohio, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Sep 4, 2007 if you’re looking for a lightly flavored orange pop with a hint of malt and lots of carbonation, look no further. i can envision thirty year old women drinking this on their back patio. don’t expect too much and you won’t be disappointed. | 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Aug 31, 2007 THOUGHTS: I regret to say that this is my 200th rating. I wish it had been a real beer. It was much better than the cactus lime version, but still pretty bad. The finish flavor just about disappears in the back of the mouth as carbonation takes over.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a clear, medium yellow with a small to average, fizzy white head that quickly diminished. The aroma was mostly orange, but something bad underneath. The initial flavor was mostly orange with a somewhat peachy taste, while the finish had almost no flavor at all coming across as lightly sweet and sour with a short to average duration. The light body was dry but syrupy in the way that is sticky on the lips. There was very fizzy carbonation and a moderately astringent finish. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Aug 27, 2007 Bottle from Capone’s. Pale gold pour with minimal head. The aroma was half-decent, with a realistic orangy note and slight hopcitrus. Weak palate, with mild hopcitrus and orange in the flavor. zach8270 (2087), Henrietta, New York, USA
| 0.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Aug 19, 2007 (bottle - 12 oz) Clear golden color with not much head or carbonation. Aroma is very full of orange, artificial sweeteners, stale hops, and plastic. Flavor tastes like boiled orange peels and old Sprite. The orange flavor dies and leaves a strange aftertaste. Not good. | 0.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Aug 17, 2007 Had a free sample at an event in Scottsdale. I did not take notes. This one is my least favorite of the bunch and tastes the most unlike beer in my opinion, but maybe I am just getting sick of orange flavored everything. The wife liked this one as well as the others. If the opportunity for another free sample arises I will re rate with proper notes.
