When I picked up the three Mich alcopops at Pat’s Liquors in Porter, IN, the woman behind the counter said I might be surprized and like them. Well, no surprizes here. There were all pretty sad excuses for a beer of ANY style. This one had the same urine yellow body and short-lived fizzy head as the other two, It smelled kind of like St. Joseph’s Baby Aspirin but with a metallic touch. The flavor, or at least what could be found through the carbonation, was of cheap orange candy. Gassy and a definite non-repeater.

Bottle. See through gold color. Aroma - strong citrus...grapefruit first, then orange...hard to pick up anything else related to beer; when it warms, touch of alcohol scent. Flavor is not overly sweet...citrus is forefront...light beer on the backside...low hops, some corn. On the plus side, it’s not as sweet as you may think. Crisp & refreshing; something I can drink on a hot summer day. My wife thinks it’s amazing.

Drinking straight from the bottle. Clear very light yellow. Smells of orange candy. Tasted like very watered down Crush. Not bad. Very drinkable, but not appealling.

Clear bottle, weak aroma leaves no need for a glass. Pale yellow, somewhat fizzy. Artificial citrus dominates the aroma. Some have related the flavor of this beer to Kool Aid. I liken it to PEZ candy. Orange PEZ, which in itself is not bad, but should not be a beer. Also, it’s a bit to fizzy, and what little malt flavor exists is stale (light struck, I’m sure). A poor showing, but I’m sure there’s quite a market for this sort of thing.

Bottle - A girl had this beer and I tried it. Did not pour, straight from the bottle. Unlike the Pomegranate Raspberry one, this one is 1/2 way drinkable. But is is not for me. Way too fruity, obviously trying to appeal to the ladies.

Pours pale yellow with an sweet citrus aroma. Flavor is like watered down carbonated orange kool-aid.

I like the other Michelob Ultras as a refreshing change of pace, but this one is a NO. It has the appearance and aroma I would expect but the flavor seems to not line up right. Will not buy another 6 pk.

hmm?...pours a gold colour with a very small headring ... a nice summer beer for yuppies .. citrus/orange/stale 3 day old beer aromas ... i tried to walk into target, but i missed .. god, so watered down but poundable at best ... probably the nicest of the girly flavoured michelobs, which isn’t saying much ... "you want an ice cold beer?!?!?!" ..ya i’ll put it in the fridge asshole ..
