1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 FreshHawk (596) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - MAR 14, 2010
Bottle.
A - Very clear straw color with a smaller than average bubbly white head. Settles pretty fast with no lacing.
S - Pretty standard light lager/adjunct smell. Grainy, corny malt with not a lot else. Clean.
T - Also typical light lager/adjunct taste. Light grain sweetness with minimal hops.
M - Light and crisp, but a bit less carbonation than other beers of the style.
D - Easy to drink, but not a lot of taste. Exactly what most mass produced beers are like.
Notes: Not all that good, even when compared to other mass produced beers this doesn’t stand out. Not really worth going after.

UPDATED: OCT 18, 2011 An extremely pale yellow pour with white head. There is a faint grain aroma and a lot of carbonation. Virtually tasteless.

Gotta say that this is truly like drinking lightly flavored carbonated water. Very bland and almost clear. I wouldn’t refer to this as beer.

Bottle. 12 oz. Yes, I actually drank one of these abominations. If you want to avoid carbohydrates, then do not drink beer in the first place. Seriously gross and moderately infuriating. No serious brew-lover with his or her salt would ever settle for this. Chalk this one up in the "Never Again" list.

I’m sorry, this stuff tastes like ass. Look, if you want to create a fine beer it must have at least a modest amount of calories. This is like flavored lake water without the flavor. Ugh!

This is one macro to avoid. Pale golden color, can find these just about anywhere. A slightly hoppy smell, and the taste is unpleasantly bitter, this taste lingers after every sip unfortunately. I cannot recommend this one.

To quote below because I can do no better!
If I were on a diet and desperately trying to avoid carbs I would stop drinking beer altogether before drinking this alcoholic seltzer water. Especially since there are no carbs in whiskey.
