1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 bhensonb (7143) - Woodland, California, USA - NOV 4, 2007
There is an aroma. Could be malt and hop. Very pale gold color with a decent white head. Very thin body with fizzy carbonation. The flavor is not bad - straight pale malt. It’s at least as tasty as a number of NAs (though not the Bitburger). Something of a paper/herb finish. Bitter is not detectable by my palate.

Twist off cap and you are prompted with an off aroma of stale water, but in a good beery way. Very very pale yellow color, almost waterlike. No head. Aroma is slightly sweet in the glass. Good tingly soda water carbonation. Has a slight cardboard taste that reminds me of Coors N/A. No bitterness can be detected. This is perhaps even better tasting than the new Michelob lager. Except for the cardboard, not offensive in any way, quite enjoyable for a session brew. Lacks personality. Easy to drink, like water. Friendly and well behaved. The cardboard fades after a while during the session. Has very little negative attributes during the finish. Remains a pretty good light beer. Finish is quite amicable.

UPDATED: FEB 19, 2008 Pale yellow, pours with 2 inches of head. A little watery from the bottle, but not watery on draught. However, the best sub 100 calorie beer at 2.0 grams carbs by far. No competition in this category. Mild sweet aroma and flavor. Smells like good malt and the hops leftover from when they brewed bud select. A lot of grain flavor for a light beer. Lots of bubbling in the glass,, in other words, lot of carbonation. A good bite. This ultra light has more satisfying flavor than the other big 3. Tastes like beer.

Basically like drinking a nice tall glass of water. Doesn’t even have a high alcohol content to help you get drunk quicker. Not really sure why anyone would drink this?

Pours a pale yellow color. Small white head. Very slight yeast aroma. Goes down as smooth as tap water. Tastes just about like it too. Very carbonated, however. My overall assumption: If you’re going to drink something like this, you probably should be drinking tap water.

Drank this only because it was the only thing available. Low-carb beer should be outlawed. Taste of carbonated water with a hint of grain.

12 ounce bottle. Classic macro brew product for less than $1.00 not worth a comment.

UPDATED: NOV 4, 2007 i know, i know, i’m desperate for a beer and none of the ones that i have bought to rate have been in the fridge, so im stuck having one of my wife’s...
pours an almost white-yellow, looks like piss, with not much of a white head, very carbonated.
smell - tap water in san diego (who i am praying for right now), a little bit of grain, not much more of a smell.
taste - soda water, there might be a hop or two in there...
i can see why people drink this swill, tastes like water with a little carbonation, this should not be called a beer.
