Had the misfortune of tasting this swill. A light beer drinking friend offered me a bottle, and not being one to turn away free beer regardless of how bad it is I agreed. Wish I never agreed! One word comes to mind when consuming this "beer" water! No head to speak of, no hop presence not anything! While this beer deserved ones across the board I gave it’s drinkability a 1.5 simply because I can see how these could be drank rather quickly. Something that might appeal to the college crowd, or to someone looking for a quick buzz.

I don’t know why I bought this - perhaps the bottle just looked different. Very nasty stuff! Probably the first beer I’ve tipped out. We are in a drought, so it was good for the garden. The finish reminded me of Andrew’s Fruit Salts!!

Bottle. Pours a clear pale yellow color with a small longlasting white head. Sweet and weak malty aroma. Sweet malty and grainy flavor. Malty grainy finish with some weak bitterness in the aftertaste.

Bottle - Pale Lager; what can I say? - Interesting story though: I was recently at a crawfish boil where this beer (Michelob Ultra) was had by many. My wife, however, knowing I wouldn’t care for their choice, had brought for me Anchor Liberty Ale instead. Some interested ones tried my beer and decided that it was nasty. Fine, more good beer for me. It just goes to show that those whose palate is used to these pale lagers are sadly missing out on a world of better variety. I have my work cut out for me to sway the others to the greener grass, so to speak, so if there are any suggestions out there, I’m listening. Would starting them out with a hefeweizen be better suited for their tastes? By the way, my beer went great with the crawfish.

Tastes very grainy and has a nasty yeast like aftertaste. Very light golden color and tastes like corn. Not good.

Ultra watery should be the name. Could not identify much beer through the water. A piss weak colour and dissapating head. Too much of a price to pay I’m afraid for a few less KJs.

Poured a brilliant white-gold with a thick pillowy head. The aroma is... well, there isn’t one. Tatse was clean no malt presence to speak of. A ghostly feel of hoppy bitterness in the finish took me off guard. This must be a very cheap beer to produce. The water/malt ratio must be 10/1. You can probibly make four batches of this compared to one Michelob. Since there is no taste, I can’t say it tasted bad. It would be like saying "water tastes bad".
