Yeah this is just an alcoholic drink. Very much a selzer water that is set up to taste like a beer but hardly worth being called a beer.

This is for beer drinkers that don’t want to drink beer, they would rather drink water.

Better than any other light/low carb beer I’ve had so far. Basically tastes like seltzer water and beer, but at least it tastes like beer....kind of

Well, with no other beer around I finally decided to try a bottle. Fizzy, watery yellow with a slight with head. Unique subtle aroma that resembled nothing I consider a kin to malt and hops. Highly carbonated light palate. The flavor is water and very, very subtle hops. This was difficult to finish. Drinkability comes from the lack of any non-water flavor to speak of...quite possibly, the worst macro brew that I have ever imbibed.

UPDATED: OCT 18, 2006 Michelob Ultra 12 oz bottle Recent bottling, consumed 07/06 Fairly aggressive pour in a pilsner glass Poured a very light shade of pale hay with quickly dissipating white head. Smelt of a blemish of maltiness Taste begins with light corny malt and finishes metallic and watery. Mouthfeel was light and overcarbonated. Overall, a good substitute if your tap water is contaminated.

A slightly yellow liquid, no aroma, no flavor....wait...there...something sweet...no...gone. Is it 94% water, 5% alcohol and 1% u.ine or is it Michelob Ultra...I can’t tell.

Pours with an overcarbonated feel, CO2 induced and unnatural. The head doesn’t last, and the look is somewhere between straw and water. Too many carbonation bubbles try to make up for the lack of any substance to this beer. The nose is of sour corny grains. The flavor, honestly, is the weakest of any brew I think I’ve tried. I get about the same from the flavor as I do the mouthfeel.... seltzer water. Again, overcarbonation provides for a seltzer finish. This might be good for those watching their carbs, but I’ll leave you with an interesting note: Years ago, I was one of the "test subjects" for this beer. At that point, WAY before I got into craft brews, I thought that this was wonderful.... It was touted as "crisp and cold", and I bought into it. Now, years later after revisiting it, I am so embarrassed to have fallen into that scam. Now that the initial advertising campaign has passed, I’m glad I see this for what it really is: Not a good beer.

UPDATED: JUL 13, 2006 Aroma consisted of hay, resin, and alcohol, appearance was pale, clear, with a minimal head, light sweetness, lightly bitter, heavily sour, vinegar taste, light body, thin feel, average carbonation, bitter, overall a poor excuse for beer, I wish they would stop making light beers. They are Pure Crap
