Poured from the bottle (it was free), whoa, the carbonation! A scarily clear pale yellow with a decent head. Aroma reminds me of soap suds. Very sweet, dry, and extremely fizzy. Will my mouth ever forgive me!

Oh, what;s the point? Low Carb dieters should just forget about drinking beer if they want avoid any thing with carbs. Its got no taste of malts, hops or anything that even resembles flavor.

oh yea... this stuff is bad....could pass for sparkling water ... its non-offensive and not putrid like lets say a miller-chill so it’ll get a few points

This is bullshit, it tastes like water and still it has more calories than Coca-Cola?? This is a beer that was made for the wrong reasons for the wrong people, who should go directly to jail for drinking this "brew"

I dont rate stuff like this unless it’s free. I ran out of Port Wipeout IPA at some milf’s b-day party and someone offered this up. I had not had this since my low carb diet days several years ago. Pours a very pale straw golden with a white head. Faint pale malt and lager aroma. Texture is thin with light body and lively carbonation. Flavor is pretty much what you would expect. Pale malts, corn, cereal grains countered by a moderate sweetness. Almost no detectable bitterness. Nothing offensive here, but it’s just boring. It serves it’s purpose well. Far better than the Ultra Amber.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear weak yellow color with a medium-lg white head. Not much aroma to speak of. The flavor is also barely there; a little malt and grass with light hops in the background. Very thin. Its only purpose is as a light beer served ice cold on a hot summer day with spicey food.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2004 Is this really beer? Here’s how to save money and still acheive the Ultra taste. Buy 6 pack of Bud/Miller/Coors. Fill glass half way with beer, mix other half with water. Presto, you have a 12 pack of Michelob Ultra. This is for people on the Atkins diet and nothing else. Its not bad beer, its bad water!

Kinda yellowish, kinda not. Nasty sour aroma. Tastes like tonic water would, if tonic water tasted worse than it does.
