0.7 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 BuckNaked (1222) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - OCT 29, 2004
I spotted this at a party, and full well knowing that it would be bad, I had to try it just to see how bad. No flavor or smell to this beer. It’s like drinking water with beer flavoring. Why anyone would drink this beer for the carbs is beyond me. I guess that’s why marketing works.

Bottle: My expectations were very low and they still managed to impress me. Stale, pale, watery, fizzy; just terrible.

it was damn near clear, virtually no taste, but what was there was very watered down and chemical tasting. it has a very bitter aftertaste, btu not the good bitter, the i-don’t-know-why-i-drank-you-bitter. might as well drink bud light...
0.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20 wilkie (1209) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - JAN 11, 2003
Ultra crap as opposed to the just plain
crap that Michelob is famous for. It also
costs more that PBR, which makes it
ultra useless.
0.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20 bubbleflubber (1206) - Asheville, North Carolina, USA - JUL 24, 2006
Pours with an overcarbonated feel, CO2 induced and unnatural. The head doesn’t last, and the look is somewhere between straw and water. Too many carbonation bubbles try to make up for the lack of any substance to this beer. The nose is of sour corny grains. The flavor, honestly, is the weakest of any brew I think I’ve tried. I get about the same from the flavor as I do the mouthfeel.... seltzer water. Again, overcarbonation provides for a seltzer finish. This might be good for those watching their carbs, but I’ll leave you with an interesting note: Years ago, I was one of the "test subjects" for this beer. At that point, WAY before I got into craft brews, I thought that this was wonderful.... It was touted as "crisp and cold", and I bought into it. Now, years later after revisiting it, I am so embarrassed to have fallen into that scam. Now that the initial advertising campaign has passed, I’m glad I see this for what it really is: Not a good beer.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2011 I am amazed at people who order this at bars that have 15+ non American beers on tap. Think of water with no flavor and you have this stuff. I do not get it.

Did not like this beer at all. Pale yellow color. No taste at all. Kinda skunky at the end. I will never buy this again.
