UPDATED: JUN 2, 2005 Basically just water, it’s up side is that there isn’t really much that is unpleasant about it. Suitable for hot climates. Rated somewhat higher since it’s not really a drain pour.

Not good, but tolerable to drink. This is not an average light beer. I bought one 6 pack of michelob black and tan, and one of ultra. The ultra actually weighed less. not only is it light, but it weighs less physically. Simply amazing, but the taste is anything but amazing.

This beer is popular at the local bar I hang out at. It has no taste and I can’t believe people get into the whole "low-carb" thing. I tried to turn these people on to some great beers brewed around the corner (Victory). Not only didn’t it work, they never even heard of Victory beer. John

I really wanted this to be good, because i could certainly use a lot less carbs in my diet. Unfortunately, this didnt taste like anything at all. Sprite has more flavor than this stuff.

Not many surprises here. Pours an ultra-pallid yellow with boatloads of carbonation desperately attempting to rebuild a fallen head of white. Dusty, adjuncty aroma with notes of Play-Doh and a quick whiff of alcohol. Flavor is more of a "non-flavor" with a mineral water base limply presenting a hint of sweetness with a dash of corny grains and a note of sourness on the finish.

While seemingly devoid of any redeeming qualities, this beer is not without a saving grace. No, it is NOT so Biff McHardbody can cop a righteous buzz while maintaining his rock-hard abs. The redeeming facet of any "Low-Carb" is that they allow diabetics (like my octogenarian mother) to occasionally sample what they remember as "beer" without too much worry about diving into a diabetic-coma. Hell, I may be in the same boat someday and I hope that some forward-thinking micro will pursue the low-carb trend and propose a tastier solution than what is currently on the market.

Pale gold. Very faint sweetness in the aroma. Taste is basically metallic carbonation, however there is a barely perceptible sourness and a hint of bitterness when it warms. I gave this beer every chance by waiting for a hot day, however it still came up short.

Very, very bland. Not much taste at all. Again, good if you plan on drinking a lot. It’s alright.

it was damn near clear, virtually no taste, but what was there was very watered down and chemical tasting. it has a very bitter aftertaste, btu not the good bitter, the i-don’t-know-why-i-drank-you-bitter. might as well drink bud light...
