Well, you’ve probably heard all of the rantings about this beer already, so i’ll skip that part. On the good side, Michelob Ultra is very thirst quenching. It’s a situational beer. Going out for drinks after a hard game of b-ball? Michelob Ultra. You’re a raging alchoholic running a marathon? Michelob Ultra. And if you’re gonna choke if you take one more bong rip... that’s right, Michelob Ultra to the rescue. Maybe they should just rename this shit ’Gator-Ale, the sports DRINK.’

Remember what this beer is supposed to be...watery, thin, and cheap. It succedes. If all you care about is a buzz without getting too fat, its fine. Don’t expect much taste.

slight edge over water, yet not quite beer. doesn't taste bad or anything though. but wait, water is free and has no calories. so the point of this stuff is....?

UPDATED: MAY 13, 2003 This beer has the least flavor I have ever tasted. Watery with slight hops, no finish. Not the worst beer I have had. I guess if you're really on a diet, it's good. Not me though; I'll keep the beer gut and drink good beer.

almost clear yellow. Thin foamy white remnants of a head. Smells like yeast and a little sourness. Corn flavor big time. Flavored water flavor. Horrible. Leaves acid taste in your mouth. Awful.

My friends and I had a pitcher of this while eating chicken wings at Hooters. At the time I had this one aroma buds were shot. Yellow color and had a white head. As for flavor and palate. Beer was good enough to wash down the wings.

UPDATED: SEP 27, 2008 Bottle. Creamy white good mostly deminishing head. Pale yellow colour. No aroma and no flavor. Very watery palate. Still refreshing and a better beer than many low alcohols. But then again. dont drink this unless the water is poluted.

Michelob Ultra I wasn’t going to rate it, how could I it would never be my Fridge. Never say never. Friday night my wife volunteered me to help move her girlfriend saying there will be pizza and beer. Well we loaded the Uhaul and ate pizza the beer was not there. So we drove over to the other house to unload beer was offered to me by the Girlfriends girlfriend it was dark and the longneck felt good my “beer-radar” did not warn me of what she was handing me. She was gone before my beer snob instincts could kick in (lucky for me I later found out she is some kind of Champion Kick boxer). The beer ……OK I was hot and sweaty and thirsty and the initial swallow was palatable it was watered down Budweiser but I was thirsty…I should have chugged the rest right then but being a ratebeerian I knew I would have to rate it. Pale yellow, little white head ¼”, Thin body, lots of carbonation, aromas of cereal grains, extremely washed out taste diluted beer/water 50%. If you were going to do the locarb thing I would go with gin or vodka tonic before this beer.
