Do you ever get the feeling that Anheuser-Busch has one giant vat of beer that they pour into every bottle no matter the label? This tastes like Michelob GD and GD Light: like nothing.

UPDATED: JUN 22, 2003 If I was this worried about carbs, I'd pour myself a glass of whiskey instead. Nothing but slightly alcoholic water here.

UPDATED: MAR 5, 2005 Tap: I talked the bartender into giving me a sample (I would never buy this stuff), Surprisingly it wasn’t offensive, rather it was just lacking. Kind of like the band Air Supply, no substance but you find yourself humming when no one is around.

Not that great tasting. Very light tasting and very close to water. Tastes like water with some beer mixed in.

Bottle. Pours yellow with a small, fizzy, white head, diminishing with spare lacing. Aroma is average malt (grain, hay), light hops (grass), average yeast (sweat) with notes of potato and paper. Light bodied, thin texture, average carbonation, and a chalky finish. Short duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness.

Pale, almost colourless beer. The nose is so light that it is barely perceptible. There is just the faintest touch of graininess and just a kiss of fruit. No bitterness really at all. It actually tasted more like an ale to me... a very light one, but there is a touch of estery character nonetheless. Mostly tastes like wet nothing though.

Bottled. A green almost see through beer with little of anything going on in the aroma or taste. There’s some off-putting metallic stuff in the smell and nothing much more advanced than water in the taste. Not nasty but oh so boring. A sad beer for sad people.

Very light in carbs, taste, calories, and much else. i’m not into the carb craze but suppose if i was i’d enjoy this one for that reason. otherwise i dont see why anybody would choose this one
