1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20 Kinz (2694) - Glen Allen, Virginia, USA - JUL 27, 2008
When I went to look up my non-existant rating for Michelob Light, I discovered I also had never rated Michelob Ultra. At the in-law’s place this weekend, and discovered an un-opened 12 pack that a visitor had abandoned at their place a while back, still in the fridge. So for the sake of getting the rating in, I passed over a bottle of Blue Mountain Full Nelson IPA and picked up this. At least it wasn’t totally awful. Pale, fizzy yellow. Faint aroma of adjunct driven "select grains." Flavor was slightly grainy, some adjuncts, and that strange berry flavor I find sometimes in A-B light products, I suspect from the yeast and adjunct mix. Better than the Coors low-carb light offering at least.

Well this is my first low carb beer...and hopefully the last. Bland and oderless and flavorless. Jeez, how does this sell. Pretty, prettty, pretty, pretty bad.

UPDATED: NOV 17, 2003 A VERY light beer. Not much flavor, watery, very thin head that disappears quick. Reminds me of Bud Light. If you like Bud, you will probably like this as well.

(bottle) i suppose that for 95 calories this isn’t so bad. but then again, it’s not good. i remember there was once an ad for this beer on i billboard i could see outside my window. it was just a shot of a hot guy with a six pack... i would drink this again if that guy came with it... but since most likely that will not be the case... i doubt i will ever pick this up again.

Not much to say, but had to try this beer. So light I wouldn’t even call it light. Very little flavor. No aftertaste. You could drink 6 and not know it. Only good for those doing Atkins!!!

Ultradull low carb beer. Poured ultrapale gold with a 0.5cm moonscape head. Ultralight uric aroma with grassy hops and corn. Sweet and lemonade-like on the tongue with corn and soda notes. Ultrawatery body and finish. Some mild bitterness builds up if you can be bothered taking a few swallows. (330ml bottle, Amatos)

UPDATED: JUL 30, 2005 Draft. It boasts ultra light and not ultra flavor right? Well, at least I’m not getting fat.

12 oz bottle-pours a thin white head with clear yellow color. Aroma-grasses. Taste grassy, musty, watery. Good carbonation is the highlight of this beer.
