Poured from 12 oz bottle into schooner glass. Appearance: pours a thick, frothy white head the quickly recedes with little to no lacing. Color is clear light golden with moderate streaming carbonation. Aroma: bready malts, a definite hop presence. Mouthfeel: light, watery, crisp with a dry refreshing finish. Flavor: lightly toasted barley, caramel, nicely balanced with pleasant grassy/herbal hop finish. Overall: a delicious beer. By far the best AB product I have tried.

Many of the reviews make me laugh. If you only drink overly-hopped IPAs this is probably a pretty bland beer. I find it just right for a hot summer day. Crisp and refreshing. Can drink more than one without feeling bloated.

@ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear light amber, no head, no lace. Rising bubbles is the only sign of life in this woeful drink. As a college kid in the late ’60s, this was considered a step up from PBR and Bud. Now it is a thin adjunct laced watery mess. I’ll presume my taste, and not the beer, has changed. Hard to put this above anything.

Bottle. Just thought I’d try this again after not having it for many years. Once upon a time it was my favorite and I fear it may be on its way out, hard to find. Pours a straw color with a thick white head. It has a sweet vegetable smell. Lots of carbonation. Little flavor up front other than a bit of a metallic taste. Has a bit more bitterness than some other pale lagers and its not offensive just pretty bland.

This beer claims to have Munich style. Well, it has. This is a classy beer, full of aroma, malty and sweet. A good body, medium, a firm blond color and fuzzy. A fine taste, sweet and a bit bitter with a nice end.

Pour out of 12 oz bottle, thanks Aaron, I suppose. Clear yellow pour with no head, but very fizzy. Aroma brings corn, grass, slight cracker, cardboard. Taste is a mix of grass, corn, rice, hints of earth, cracker and biscuit, hay notes in there, finishing grainy. It is definitely better than all of the other macro lagers, by far.
