3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Michelob is a sort of American classic. It is quite unique, it is standard in appearance, has an aroma consistent with its flavor, and has a moderate body that favors slightly the lighter side. The story is really in its taste: the origin of the American phenomenon of quality hops being the more dominant characteristic of anything brewed with any pretense of being a specialty lager. However, unlike most other domestic macros, an appreciable amount of very grainy, if slightly sweet, malts are apparent and effectively give Michelob a nice balance you would be hard-pressed to find in others of its class.

Bud with a tinge more malt. Clear yellow real clear but weird light yellow. Why it gets decent appearance rating. Very carbonated like some water. No aroma no flavor.

It is what it is. Really nothing special, but actually one of the better american pilsner lagers. Only good after working your butt off in the blazing summer heat.

330ml bottle found in La Paz, Bolivia, labelled Michelob Lager with 4.8% alcohol. Okay white head but not much density, yellow body. Soft aroma of hops dispersed by carbonation. Flavour is murky rice adjuncts with just a hint of hops. Just about what you’d expect from an American macro.

Wet grain and very light if any herbal hop character. Flavor of wet grain and straw. However even at that very little at best. Just a little better than bud.

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
12 0z bottle. Pours pale yellow with a medium white head. Little to no aroma, just a hint of light malts/grains. Little taste, most slightly sweet cereal grain/light malt flavor. I think that it is better than Yuengling Lager.

Not a bad brew by any means, although the corn is all too evident to call it premium, let alone super-premium. Some maltiness. Pleasant on the palate and the eye.

3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A clear golden yellow color with a light head. Has a mild flavor (it is a Anheuser -Busch product) that is not bad, a refreshing summer beer. Poured from a 12OZ bottle into a pint glass, slightly hoppy little aftertaste.
