COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Super-premium Michelob was developed in 1896 as a "draught beer for connoisseurs." Michelob is brewed with a superior ingredient blend for fuller body with a clean finish, using all imported hops and a high percentage of two-row barley malt.

In spite of Budweiser’s popularity, this, to me, is the finest beer that Anheuser Busch produces.

355ml bottle pours a pale golden color with a finger of white head and a few spots of lace. Aroma is light grains and grassy hops. Taste is light malty sweet with a moderate hop bitterness. One of the better macro lagers from the USA.

Basic beer from the US. When I was growing up it was the premium beer. But it is just a basic beer.

Bottle. Light yellow gold pour with a smaller head. Aroma and taste of grain and slight malt. Just a touch of skunkiness. Really not too awful for the style.

Bottle. Pours pale yellow with a medium white head. Little to no aroma, just a hint of light malts/grains. Little taste, most slightly sweet cereal grain/light malt flavors. Watery with little to no bitterness. Bland and inoffensive.

Tasted bottle into standard pint glass. Clear golden color with creamy white head. Aroma of grain, grass, very mild hops. Taste is same with a slight malt-sweetness. Overall, an okay mass-produced all-malt light lager. A small upgrade from the more popular AB brews.

Not a bad session beer. I can put down a few of these. Good paired with pizza.

Boliv (964) - New York, USA - OCT 4, 2011
Bottle. Yellow pour with a small white head. Aromas of corn, straw, and sweet malt. Similar flavor; sweet, very little hop profile, and with a bit of corn. Drinkable, but in smaller quantities; wouldn’t really want more than two of these at a time. [844]
