12 oz bottle, via Styles. Pours a slightly hazy straw color, with a small large bubbled head. Fruity aroma with lots of spices and hints of yeast, hay, and wheat. Very spicy flavor up front with lots of wheat and yeast on the finish. Fairly superficial flavor profile, not a whole lot of depth or complexity. Nice spritzy carbonation, medium bodied, with a refreshing finish. This is a fairly enjoyable beer, but it lacks alot of the complexity and depth that this used to have a few years ago when it was made in Texas.

Light yellow in color no head. Notes of grass, Apple, malts, spicy hops. A nice strong ale for the price

Tallahassee, Fl - New Leaf Market - 12 oz bottle. Slightly murky medium golden, little to no head. Aroma of bubble gum and sugar water, Flavor is decidedly sweet with some Belgian candii sugar notes, some cotton candy, a touch of bubble gum. Mouthfeel has a decent stickiness to it. Passable.

Misty patch-amber, standard 12 oz longneck, OK label. Sourish, slightly plasticky, plummy, yeasty aroma. On the front end, I thought it would do better. Woody saison thing. Mossy, a little diacetyl, yeasty, mineral, sour fruit. Has interesting flairs here and there, but also blows the shift at times, too. New Leaf Market.

"i realized when pouring this iíve never had a light Grand Cru before...til now. cloudy straw yellow, aroma of grassy hops, herbs and spices, belgian yeast. pretty basic, but light and refreshing. not enough going on to go back for more, though."

Bottle. From old notes. With herbs and spices, by the original maker of Hoegaarden. Very similar to Hoegaarden Grand Cru, but not quite as good. Not as rich and malty, the flavor just is not up to the other, although it is a pretty pleasant beer.

This seems to taste like a strong version of Celis white! Bright, light golden color with a thin white head. Fresh vegetal/celery aroma and taste with coriander notes and some black pepper. Smooth, creamy malt background with a slight nuttiness. Good alcohol bite that I think seems stronger due to the spice herbaceousness. Spices last long after the sip. Another great Celis beer that Iíll be hoping makes a comeback soon!

Formerly brewed. With beers like this one it is not shocking. Brownish color pour. Candy, yeasty, malts in the nose. Taste is kind of odd, watered down, and not really anything like a BSA should be. I appreciate the attempt at creating one of the better styles of beer to come out of Belgium, but this one was just boozy and unbalanced.

Draft. Medium gold, light head. Weak yeast influence, some coriander, hints of malts and hops; not watery but not full flavored either. Okay.

Bottle: clear very light, pale yellow pour with a large white head. Aroma is light with champagne, cider, wheat and a soft yeast funk. Flavor is somewhat watery sugary syrup with bubblegum, cider, wheat, yeast and alcohol. The flavor are somewhat jumbled and light with a boozy alcohol bite. Not horrible, just not one I would buy again.

Very light, clear, pale gold with a frothy white head. Very little aroma....yeasty. Mild...a slight nutty tone over the yeast.... A hint of white pepper. Light, but still pretty nice.
