BeerBelcher (800), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Sep 2, 2008 This has to be the most boring beer labeled "Grand Cru" I’ve ever had. Appearance is a light golden color with minimal head. Aroma is like Sprite soda, with the addition of clove/coriander. Flavor is very mild and refreshing. Quite nice for a hot summer night, which is not typically when I’m reaching for a Belgian beer. Mouthfeel is quite light and refreshing.
If there was a big market for "Belgian style ale that drinks like a light beer," then this stuff would go over like crazy.
Still, I would weakly recommend. I got this beer via my guest subscription to the Microbrew of the Month club.
