3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Serving: 12 oz. bottle from the Giant in Leesburg. It pours a hazy pale yellow with a head of rocky white foam that fills half the glass. Can you say overcarbonated? The nose has pleasant notes of yeast, coriander, lemon peel, and a touch of spice. Nice and dry on the palate with the yeast, lemon notes, and spice coming on strong. Light on the tongue with a way too much carbonation but a short finish. The flavor seems spot on, but I could use a lot less carbonation in this brew.

3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. bottle served in tumbler- poured a slightly dulled faint yellow color, foamy white ring around the glass for a head. Aroma of bread, yeast, and urine- ugh! Hits the mouth with a restrained body, malt has just a slight amount of wheat added perhaps, a magical various fruit ester voyage in the middle, finish is lasting and has alot of spice notes. It’s going to be interesting since at the present time, the Celis name has been bought back from the closed MI Brewing and plans to start brewing again in Austin. Highly intriguing move.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy, pale, yellow with a modest white head with light, spotty lacing. Aroma of citrus, bread, spice, and banana. The taste is sweet malt and yeast. Medium bodied and sticky with mild carbonation. Good beer, but I think that the name is better than the beer here.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle thanks to weihenheizen. Poured is a pale yellow with a thick head of fluffy white foam. Aroma is sweet banana and some candy influence. Some bready, yeasty influence as well. Taste is very much like lemonade and wheat. Kinda like a shandy. The tartness is very nice, but I don’t know if that is intentional. Very refreshing.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Looks almost watery to me in the glass, but tastes better. Good taste for a Belgium. The ABV on this leaves something to be desired, but I’ve had worse.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle from Baruni’s in Baden, PA. Comes close to the Belgian protocol but lacks the uniqueness you’d find in an import from the motherland. Rather skimpy on taste and ingredients.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a slightly hazy, very pale yellow. Small white bubbles around the glass’ edge. Nice aromas of orange, some spiciness & a hint of Belgian yeast funk. Taste follows the nose w/ a clean finish. A nice, refreshing beer. My girlfriend likes it too!

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft. Pale cloudy yellow pour, frothy white head. Banana, lightly sweet, coriander, clove, and lightly tart lemon. Very light and easy drinking, OK.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Stoked to have found this...had thought it had stopped being brewed (again). I used to drink a ton of this in college in Dallas. Didn’t know what a legend it would become. What can I say...tastes and smell great just like the original. Mostly lemon zest and coriander. Great and refreshing.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma is very prominent spices as well as wheat. The flavor is wheat grain, spices, citrus and has a mild tartness/sourness. The spices definitely stood out in the aroma and flavor and it was pretty good wit.
