COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Celis White has been revived by Michigan Brewing Company with the blessing of its founder and his daughter, Christine Celis. The original Celis White, brewed in Austin, TX by Pierre Celis during the early and mid 1990’s, ceased production when Mr. Celis closed his Austin microbrewery and moved to Belgium.

Stoked to have found this...had thought it had stopped being brewed (again). I used to drink a ton of this in college in Dallas. Didn’t know what a legend it would become. What can I say...tastes and smell great just like the original. Mostly lemon zest and coriander. Great and refreshing.

Aroma is very prominent spices as well as wheat. The flavor is wheat grain, spices, citrus and has a mild tartness/sourness. The spices definitely stood out in the aroma and flavor and it was pretty good wit.

Pours slightly hazed, pale lemon yellow with a brief head. Aromas of banana and other tropicals. Light nectar with abundant carbonation. Nice balance on this one. Mildly spiced, mildly fruity, dry finish. Nice acidity and bittered finish. Well made.

Pours a hazy gold with a nice white that lasted a while. Good lacing. Aroma was a very nice banana, clove, and wheat. Taste had the same elements but somewhat watered down. Not bad overall, very drinkable.
