Sampled while speaking with Pierre. Cloudy pale gold color with a small white head. Wheaty and citrusy, tart aroma. Lightly tart citrus taste, sweet bubblegum, oranges. A great refresher between the beers I was drinking today. Beersuds (14), Beaumont, Texas, USA Oct 3, 2004 On Draught and Bottle -Praise be to the Celis family. I was CRUSHED when they left Austin. But thank the beer gods, that they are back in production again ( even if it is in Michigan)- it’s a great state to me. It still has the most refreshing taste of any beer on a hot summer day. Some purist would disagree, but it’s the best beer to drink with just a squeeze of lemon. The bottle version of the new version has a little less flavor then the keg stock. The thrill is back! Now all we need is the Celis Raspberry to make a Berry White mix ukoolaid (572), Amherst, Massachusetts, USA Oct 1, 2004 Bottle. Pale yellow color with large white head. Aroma of wheat and yeast. 10/07 Celis beers brewed by Michigan Brewing Co. are no longer available in Texas. Repeated attempts to contact the brewery were unsuccessful.
