pineypower (1076), Pine Barrens, New Jersey, USA Sep 1, 2008 Pours out a hazy dark lemon juice color with a small to moderate white head. Aroma is of citrus ans some spice notes. Taste is refreshing, yet still somewhat complex, has some nice notes of citrus, spice and some lemon zest in there too. This isn’t always my favorite style, but this one is pretty good. GriffinAvenue (395), Winchester, Massachusetts, USA Aug 30, 2008 Bottle. Hazy, grapefruit lemon color with 1/2" head. Lemon, wheaty, grainy, cloves. Listless initial delivery, thin body, but steadily comes on strong with spicy, wheaty finish. Ok popephred (193), Plainfield, Illinois, USA Aug 27, 2008 BOTMC Selection August 2008: Poured from the bottle into a double-walled pint glass. Pour produced a cloudy golden body topped by a medium head of white foam, which dissipated fairly quickly. Strong aromas of lemon, cloves, and wheat. Tart and light-bodied, this White goes down easily, with good, crisp carbonation, mild aftertaste, and a generally clean palate throughout. This is a fine beer for hot Summer months and will keep this in mind for the next Summer. Dandman629 (28), Ashburn, Virginia, USA Aug 25, 2008 Bought a six pack, and this beer just gets better the more you drink. Light citrus refreshing scent. The palate is really smooth and creamy. You can really taste the corriander and spice. This is an amazing Belgian wheat. CaryTheDude (1113), Longmont, Colorado, USA Aug 22, 2008 Damn good white. The kind that you just want to gulp instead of sip. Lots of flavors goin on, little sweeter, more of a hop finish than others. But damn is it refreshifying. Damico (162), Norristown, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 5, 2008 I love the typical belgian white ale flavor of this microbrew. It’s smell and flavor are strong and a little sweeter than that of a true belgian like Hoegaarden. Beerman6686 (1266), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 5, 2008 Poured a cloudy yellowish orange color with a nice big white head. Aroma was of spicy, cloves and coriander wiht some lemon notes. Flavor is really spicy, a lot like hoegaarden but with a bit more fruitness to it. Bier brauen (210), Bremerton, Washington, USA Jul 28, 2008 This is the beer that brought Wit to Americal. Thank you Pierre Celis! Thank you Michigan Brewing for keeping it going!
