2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from my buddy Steve. This right here is your classic North American tick. A translucent brown pour, not much body or carbonation to it. Aroma is almost completely anonymous, with generic bready malts. Just a trace of sweet nut flavor but something rather acrid washes it away in the finish. Blech.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Classic pint glass pour from bottle: just the perfect medium head atop a translucent reddish-brown beer. A bit of lacing. Aroma is caramel, brown sugar, malt, something else. Flavor is somewhat mild. Sticks on the tongue with a bit of peanut butter flavor. Sweet. Minimal hop balance. A bit of cardboard. Overall, not as robust as I wanted--whatever that means.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle thanks to Swalden28. Pours a brownish color with no head. Notes of roasted tomatoes, dark syrup, and nut shells. Watery mouthfeel and tastes like a diluted blend.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Not a good example of a brown. Kinda like Wonder Bread compared to Pumpernickel. Not worth trying unless its free.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
More amber than brown, nice fluffy off-white head. Smells like an American macro-lager. Somewhat nutty and slightly sweet. Not complex but not too bad either.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
12 oz in that multipack from that gas station. Brown-red coca cola body with tan head. Sweet dark fruit aroma. Little bitterness, caramel, sour, brown and nutty. Little carb and thin. Not the best in the style at all.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Good aroma of caramel and light hops. Clear medium amber with a persistent head cover, light splashes of lace. The taste is caramel malt and hazelnut, impacted negatively through a greasy mouth-coating residue that makes it seem quite heavy. Not much going for this brew. Not recommended.

Dark brown, clear appearance. Does have nut/almond flavor. MBC makes other beers that are better than this one. Iíll spend my money on those beers instead.
