interesting-looking bottle, gotta be worth a try. dark copper colored liquid with a thin ring of white head, crystal-clear filtered. pumpkin pie spice - nutmeg, cinnamon, whatever the hell else goes in to a pumpkin pie, it’s all there. it covers up any "beer" characteristics. that’s not to say that all you can taste is the spice, but the only lasting impression of this beer is that it’s a fun fall seasonal.

On tap at Cole’s. Spicy nose, cinnamon, allspice, amber/orange, small custard head. Taste has a spicy start, again, allspice, nutmeg, malt is there too. Medium bodied, sweet, spicy and tasty. Very good.

12oz. Bottle: Aroma of spices, nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon, clove, light pepper, and light pumpkin. Aroma is over-spiced. Poured orange/amber in color with a medium-sized, dense, off-white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Clear. Slightly sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet and heavily spiced. Tastes of spices, nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon, cloves, and a hint of pumpkin. Light to medium body. Slightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Spice, nutmeg, allspice, and clove finish is a tad dry. Way over-spiced.

Poured into a tulip. Color is a bright peach-orange color that is mostly transparent with a bit of light haze. Single-finger white head falls down into a bit of light lacing and a few large carbonation bubbles. Nose is some bright and strong pumpkin spice notes along with a strong nose of cinnamon and some sweet apple. Taste is Apple Jacks with some cinnamon and green apple components plus a bit of nutmeg and some sweet pumpkin pie. Light sweetness. Light to medium body with low amounts of carbonation. Pretty sweet and slightly cloying. Not terrible, but a bit too sweet and slightly gimmicky. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 11-14-2010

from the bottle poured a brownish orange, with light tan head and a lot of floaties. aroma, allspice, cinnamon, corriander, nutmeg all on the weak side. flavor pumpkin flavors like almost any of the others I have had with a little bit of sourness to it, it is possible that this bottle was starting to turn

This ale poured a medium orange colour with a fast disipating head. To the nose there was scents of Allspice and nutmeg, bubble gum and...cake??? First taste was really spicey with flavours of Nutmeg, cinnamon and allspice. That light bubblegum flavour??? the finish is, go figure, spicey and the palate has a small bitterness about it. Not bad, very spiced!!

From dra19 via trade. Thanks Dennis! The pour was a clear copper and ruby color with a fizzy, off-white head that was maybe one-finger tall and evaporated in a flash. Minimal lacing. Initial aroma is powerful cloves with cinnamon softening the blow. As it opened up the clove/cinnamon combo was unable to mask a pretty average aroma of cardboard and light dry hops. The flavor was dry clove and cinnamon over a pedestrian ale. Thin mouthfeel. Not terrible.

Bottle from dpjuart, thanks Dave. Poured a clear copper-orange color with a moderate light beige head that faded to a thick ring. Aroma of pumpkin, cinnamon covered crust, nutmeg, and hints of red hots. Smooth, lightly spicy entry with hints of cinnamon and nutmeg transition into a pumpkin pie flavor with some light brown sugar and a lightly spicy finish with hints of red hots similar to those found in the nose. Moderate carbonation, a bit thin on the palate, but not bad. Seems a bit artificial in terms of spicing, but it is easy to drink.
