Bright golden color, well rounded flavor and exceptional drinkability characterize this very refreshing ale. A delicate balance between pale malts and Hallertauer hops creates a very palatable, light, fruity ale. A great entry level beer for newcomers to fine hand-crafted ales.

Sunset amber is a perfect description of this beer’s color. Nose is decent with some malt, caramel and fruity hints. Taste gets a thumbs up from me. It finished with just a little bit of sweetness, but it’s easy to drink a few of these.

Nice looking beer - solid amber color with a small creamy head. Malty aroma. Flavor was caramel and fruity, especialy grapefruit, though not too bitter. Well balanced, a nice warm beer.

On draft: Thin white head dissipating quickly, nice lacing throughout. Distinguished nutty and toasty notes with a sweet fruity nose. Sweetness of fruit and honey, dry hoppy nose and nice dry finish. A decent brew.

Growler at home, rated against my interpretation of BJCP 2004 guidelines. Aroma: slightly floral, fairly weak aroma, malt. Appearance: dark golden red, clear, large foamy head that stays. Taste: malt opening, toasted, lightly hopped. Palate: medium body, slightly creamy, average carbonation, average and slightly bitter finish. Overall: a very enjoyable beer, seems to be a good example of the style, though I have not had many to compare to

355 ml bottle at Haket 23/4. Clear red copper with low off-white head, drops fast. A bit odd aroma, bitter, malty, some strawberries or something. Sweet taste, also with those strawberries. Bitter aftertaste.

this is a very well rounded Vienna and the use of Hallertauer is not only apparent but very nicely done but the malt seems to disappear completely

To quote a friend, "I did not find this beer offensive, and I would drink it if nothing better was available. But I would buy six pack to share with my friends." My biggest complaint was that I just did not like the flavour. It need more hops.
