Bright golden color, well rounded flavor and exceptional drinkability characterize this very refreshing ale. A delicate balance between pale malts and Hallertauer hops creates a very palatable, light, fruity ale. A great entry level beer for newcomers to fine hand-crafted ales.

Pours a clear amber color, with a light tan ring of carbonation. Light, fruity aroma with grassy hops and cereals. Grainy flavor, with nice grassy hops flourishes and malts that sweeten as the beer warms, leading to a bready, fruity finish. Medium body. A solid lager.

Light clear amber, big frothy white head, mostly lasting, nice lacing. Floral aroma. Flavor is sweet caramel, some citrus hops. Smooth finish.

Nice looking beer - solid amber color with a small creamy head. Malty aroma. Flavor was caramel and fruity, especialy grapefruit, though not too bitter. Well balanced, a nice warm beer.

On draft: Thin white head dissipating quickly, nice lacing throughout. Distinguished nutty and toasty notes with a sweet fruity nose. Sweetness of fruit and honey, dry hoppy nose and nice dry finish. A decent brew.

12oz one of the last of the multipack that I was not looking forward to. Orange/red color with small white/off-white head. Slight aroma of malt. Flavor was not pleasing but it may just because I’m coming off of Bam Biere, after I get used to it a bit I taste some doughy malt and doughiness, grain and some bittering hops. Creamy med body. After I get used to it, it isn’t all that bad, surprisingly one of the better ones from this brewery.

Bottle. Caramel and thick malt aroma with some luscious toffee and biscuit note, a bit of grapey fruit. Deep dark amber body with a lacing, creamy white head. Taste is big on caramel and bready notes, with toffee and a nice contribution from the pale malts. MMM! Medium body is lastingly crisp and refreshing, with a bit of grapey stickiness. Nice rounding hops for balance, but the taste wears thin and plays too sweet after about six ounces. Other than that, a nice surprise.

From a 12 oz bottle obtained in a trade dated 8-1-09 which is two weeks from now so this must be the expiration date, rather than the bottling date. This poured the color of strong tea, and left an off white head and decent lacing. Nose is of caramel malts. Mouthfeel is faiirly soft and smooth. Flavor is malty with not much else showing . Kind of one-dimensional but refreshing enough to drink.

Bottle. Amber, clear, frothy white head. Medium to mild carbonation.Light malty aroma. Mild taste, very drinkable... but nothing outstanding. Would complement food well.

this is a very well rounded Vienna and the use of Hallertauer is not only apparent but very nicely done but the malt seems to disappear completely

Bottled at Bishop’s Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm. Clear amber, rich head. Papery buttery malt aroma. Medium sweet with clean rounded mouthfeel. Medium bodied. The low hop rate gives low bitterness and full emphasize on the malt. Nicely balanced, but being a tad sterile and lifeless it seems to more emulate the big south Bavarian brewer’s beers than the really good beers from the region.
