3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 daboskabouter (1470) - Fergus, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 13, 2003
Light hazy bright orange appearance, I guess kind of like a sunset. The aroma was fresh, sweet malt. Light choclatey note in the body, oily with nice hops coming through as fruity and slightly roasty. Finishes with a medium length. A rather nice vienna, altough I think Robertus is the standout but not really comparable.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 bhensonb (8991) - Woodland, California, USA - APR 22, 2008
UPDATED: APR 23, 2008 Bottle. Rich malty aroma with a touch of grassy hop. Amber color with a temporary beige head. Near medium body with fizzy carbonation. Roasted caramel with a minimal amount of grassy hop. Rather more tasty than one might think. They should get a downgrade for describing this as an ale, but generosity is a good thing. Finish is mildly sweet with perhaps a note of tobacco.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 omhper (17466) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 27, 2008
Bottled at Bishop’s Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm. Clear amber, rich head. Papery buttery malt aroma. Medium sweet with clean rounded mouthfeel. Medium bodied. The low hop rate gives low bitterness and full emphasize on the malt. Nicely balanced, but being a tad sterile and lifeless it seems to more emulate the big south Bavarian brewer’s beers than the really good beers from the region.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Terminus (2891) - Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA - SEP 12, 2006
bottle-copper amber with a small froathy white head. nose of amber grains, light dark fruit and some earhy malt character. flavors are earthy, caramel malt, toasted grains and some light spicy hops that begin to build as the beer warmed. body lacks complexity and falls flat. othewise, this beer is not bad. some spicy hops show up as it warmed in the finish. not bad.

Yep, thats the color of a Michigan sunset! Big tan head, too! Nose is faint, malty sweet. Burnt, crispy maltiness. Sweetness of caramel lies underneath as it warms. Somewhat raisony aftertaste, some hints of peated malt as well.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 MrManning (1982) - Hamilton, Ontario, CANADA - APR 18, 2009
Bottle from the brewery- Deep orangey amber with a fizzy white cap. Nose of grainy malts, some caramel, fresh floral hops, some perfume. Sweet caramel malts meet grains and floral bitter hops. Prickly carbonation and a bit too sweet towards the finish. Pretty good. overall.
3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20 BierSchneeman (10) - Fredericksburg, Virginia, USA - FEB 17, 2007
this is a very well rounded Vienna and the use of Hallertauer is not only apparent but very nicely done but the malt seems to disappear completely
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 trayns (246) - Beverly Hills, Michigan, USA - FEB 20, 2009
Growler. Pours a golden, amber color with a thin white head. Aroma is light malts and mild hops, not a strong aroma. Taste is thin and lacking, a little watery with a malty base and mild hop finish. Refreshing in the summertime I guess.
