Goodbar beer club. Typical stout nose - nearly burnt malt, iodine/astringent, reasonably hoppy, maybe some cherry. Flavor is coffee, quite hoppy. Bitter cherry, random fruitiness, burnt cherry dry finish. Cut down on the astringency and this is wonderful.

pours black with tiny off-white head...aroma is very roasted with definite chocolate and coffee notes...flavor is the same with a touch of cream...nutty finish...thin palate

Draft sampler at MBC. Dark brown color with an average light brown head that lasted. Good roasted coffee aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture. Good sweet burnt coffe flavor with a average finish.

draught. deep dark brown, nearing black body with a rather small tanned head. dry coffee roast in the aroma. the body is dry and roasty with a solid bitterness throughout. finishes with a slightly sour twang. fairly straightfoward and simple stout.

This is my favorite product from the M.B.C. It tastes just like Guinness, and it is made in my home state. I was very impressed!

Pours black with creamy tan head, mostly lasting with some lacing. Aroma is roasted malt. Flavor is roasted, coffee, and a little chocolate. Finish is short and very dry. Very one-dimensional stout.

On tap at MBC. Dark brown, opaque body, medium creamy light cream head leaving plenty of lacing. Dry roasted malt aroma that carried over and dominated the flavor, which also included a touch of chocolate but was otherwise quite dry and roasty. Medium-bodied and rich with a bit of acidity related to the roasted barley. A by-the-books stout that is well-made but doesn’t distinguish itself from the pack.

Solid color with a tan head and some lacing to it. Solid coffee flavor in the rich malt. Nice long lasting aftertaste that I enjoy. I liked this and will certainly buy more next time I’m by the brewery.

Dark, creamy, nice roasted coffee and caramel flavors, great aroma. Found this to be of Guinness quality. I’ll have to remember this one, as it was an unexpected high-quality stout.

Dark dark brown. Quick to go brown head. Roasted burnt aroma with hints of coffee. Bitter on the back of tougue. Slight creamy palate.
