COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A crisp and refreshing ale that derives its light but flavorful character from a healthy portion of wheat malt and authentic German yeast. Fruity, spicy, clove-like flavors and aroma give this unfiltered ale its uniquely complex yet refreshing flavors.

Draft, at brewery taproom. Yes, a very German weizen type beer in its banana and spice aspect. The body is typically cloudy and sptritzy, so it's hitting all the right notes. Found it to be close to their Celis White in taste.

Hazy orange-gold color with a medium foamy white head that recedes slowly. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of wheat, citrus and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of citrus, wheat and toasted malt. The finish is clean with a fruity wheat aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Slightly grassy citrus scent. Slightly citrus sour taste with yeast and fruit aromas. The taste is pretty thin. OK, but quite boring!

Not much here but just because this seemed unspiced or augmented. looked good and was a clean thirstquencher.

[Bottle] Pours a milky looking golden color with a thin head. Grains, what malt, light banana and citrus in the nose. The taste is of wheat malts, light spice, wheat bread and distinct citrus. Average palate. The body could have been a bit more robust. Not too bad, but pretty far from the German standard.

12oz bottle from beer of the month club. Pours clear light yellow with small white head. Aromas of grains, light wheat, and bit of light citrus. Flavors of grain, light wheat, light lemon. Mouthfeel is thin and beer is kind of watery. Meh.

Bottle. Lemon and wheat malt aroma. Pale yellow color with nice head. Sweet-tart lemon and wheat malt flavor. Okay but nothing great.

Pour form a 12 oz bottle. Pale yellow cloudy beer. (I swirled the last bit in the bottle to pick up sediment.) Aroma - not much. Taste is very light, a little spice, a little grain, a little bitter / sour in the finish. Overall, underwhelming.

Really didn’t like this one much. Very highly carbonated, almost no aroma, and a bright yellow color. Palate is thin and watery. Not one to go back to for me.

Cloudy yellow pour with a thin rind of white fizz. Sweet coriander aromas, with a nice combo of lemon and orange zest. Sweet and tart clove flavors, with refreshing clove citrus flavors to the finish. This was very refreshing on the deck by the pool on a hot summer day.

Definitely not a German Hefeweizen as the style indicates, this is an American style wheat ale. Clean, golden appearance. Refreshing lemon notes with a biscuit-like finish. A little watery, but a decent wheat beer nonetheless.
