Awesome college beer. Party beer. Whatever beer. Can’t rate it seriously, cause this isn’t a serious beer. Good for nights with friends and music, then throwing behind the dumpster..after all they’re gernades.

TALL CAN, pours a clear light copper with instantly settling white head, no lacing to speak of. Aroma is sweet, surprisingly fruity and ester, much more so than i remember, hint o’ malt, bread and sugar. Flavor is again sweet, mild malt, banana, with a bready, mildly malty finish, seemed to be unskunked for once thanks to can. Moderate carbonation, light body, and watery texture. Mild, sweet and drinkable.

Clear yellow pour with a white head. Aroma is sweet cereal malt. Taste is easy going down with little flavor. Aftertaste of ceral grains. I have always liked the shape of the bottle. It was a college staple back in the 80s. On a lighter side, the puzzle under the cap came out to be "butter face". Little lacing.

This is single handedly one of the worst years I’ve ever had my entire life. enough said

This beer is awesome...when you’re high. At least that’s what my roommate in college thought. Although he did eat some 2 week old cheese that was found under our dirty dishes when we got back from spring break. It was half wet and half dry. He didn’t seem to mind it, but Wolf was always high. And he drank a lot of Mickeys. It’s actually not bad when you hit your 23rd.

40, paid completely in change. Served super cold. Aroma: Cereals. Not super corny. Not even skunky! Pleasant surprise, considering the green bottle. Really not that bad. Which kind of shocks me. Appearance: Clear, pale yellow. White head that quickly fizzes away. Taste: Considering what I was preparing myself for mentally, this wasn’t too bad. Definitely better than Olde-E. Just cereals; no real hop profile. Tastes like a common, run of the mill macro beer. Palate: Slightly watery, light bodied. Not much else to say. Overall: You know, considering what other malt liquors are out there, Mickey’s isn’t as bad as it could be. That being said, it’s not that great. But hey, if it’s two days before you get paid, and you’ve got two dollars to buy beer with, a 40 of Mickey’s isn’t too horrible.

Actually not too bad for a malt liquor. Has a slightly sweet/fruity flavor and good carbonation. That being said, it’s not horrible but definitely not on the same page as a good microbrew.

I wasn’t sure how to grade this beer.I have to admit, just looking at the bottle I didn’t have high hopes going into my first bottle of Mickey’s. When I opened it the smell lowered my expectations even further. It brought me back to $1 beer night at the club as a teenager. Except... the beers there didn’t smell this bad. Just plain skunk. Now that said tasting it, it tasted alright. A bit sweet and a bit different... but not really anything I’d get excited about. A weird slightly different flavor... what is that flavor... ah right corn and rice. Not typically used to that. I can drink the whole bottle, no problem. I’m not sure how bad a beer has to be to not be able to at least finish it though. But I would never ever want to get it again.

Aroma: skunky. Appearance: pale, clear with a white head. Flavor: corn, light sweetness, lightly bitter. Palate: light body average carbonation. Overall: Once is abundantly enough.

Stubby bottle. Rating #811. Clear light gold color with a small white head. Sweet light corn aroma with a bit of skunk, not that nice really. Nasty skunk flavor as well, not that good. (2717)
