God bless Mickeys! Strong as hell, easy drinking beer. Not as sweet as other malt liquors, but much more like normal beer. I enjoy this stuff. And it’s cheap, too.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, best before 12/14/2015. Pours fairly crystal clear bright golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of corn, cracker, light honey, light herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with clean and balanced notes of pale malt and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of corn, cracker, light honey, light herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of corn, cracker, light honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Nice balance and solid robustness of pale malt and light earthy hop flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness after the finish as well. Very clean on lager flavors with minimal yeast ester notes present. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly grainy/bready mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a good malt liquor style. All around good balance and solid robustness of pale malt and light earthy hop flavors; and very smooth, crisp, and clean to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

24oz can, so no skunk.
Pours pale straw color. Lighter in color than most malt liquors. About one finger head. It lingers a bit and fades leaving some lacing. Steady stream of bubbles coming from bottom.
Smells like malts and corn. There?s not a whole lot to say about the aroma. It does so smell sweet, but not as sweet as a lot of malt liquors.
Taste again is sweet but not too much so. Not as sweet as many other malt liquors. This tastes more like a corn chip than others I?ve had. It?s a little bitter, but its not harsh. Its a little rough, but not as much as the others.
Mouthfeel is medium. It?s full bodied. It finishes a little bitter. Very dry.
Overall its quite good. Maybe one of the better malt liquors. The more I drink it, the more I like it. Its worth a try.

24oz can. Pours light yellow with a big foamy head that leaves decent lacing. No aroma. Taste is faint corn, sweet malts, metallic. Barely even there. Refreshing and goes down smooth enough with a little alcohol bite. Nothing to write home about, but gets the job done and does it cheap.

12 ounce wide mouth bottle. Bright yellow gold color topped by a moderate Rocky white head. Decent lacing. Sharp metallic, grainy nose. Sweet corny malt flavor is simple and drinkable. An old friend I just had to look up again. Nothing special here. Just a good old boy’s drinkin’ beer.

UPDATED: JUL 20, 2015 This is like the ultimate drink for the poor dude, or the class-less person, or me. No, seriously, I don’t consider drinking Mickey’s to be low-class. It’s easy to drink, regular flavor, doesn’t have that sweetness that’s associated with malt liquor normally. This is a great beer for hot days, for drinking socially, or for getting totally plowed on.
Taste and smell is mostly non-existent, it tastes like bland beer but that’s good, you don’t drink this for the "complexities". When you pour it, small head that dissipates and leaves no real lacing. Don’t pour this, honestly. Just grab a 40 and chug.

Yup.....definitely "Old Days" beer. I remember grabbin this after a long (or short) day of school. They had gyros at the gas station we grabbed this from, so it was good to chase them down. Doesn’t taste all that bad. Looks and taste like the typical lager, but it seems to be maltier since it’s a "malt liquor". Worth trying if looking for something cheap. Better than Bud and Busch, etc.
