24 oz. can; sweet find at a gas station in Monroe in route for a weekend backpacking; and I’m paper-bagging this badboy while crusing on Rt. 2, so obviously a 5 for appearance; pretty smooth zipper with crisp honey, dry hay and plenty of boozy sugar; drinks a little rough for only ~ 6%; not much corn though and honestly is much more of a stale pale lager than malt liquor to this finely tuned palate; screw these malt liquor pretenders

This is a bad beer. It is an ice for those who do not think malt liquor has enough ABV

Mickey’s Ice Brewed Ale has a very thick, white head and a clear, yellow-golden appearance with lots of bubbles streaming up, and a good amount of lacing left behind. The aroma is faint, but one detects clean water and undifferentiated grains. Taste is a round beer flavor, with a surprisingly sharp hop bitterness at the mid to back end of the sip. Mouthfeel is medium and Mickey’s Ice Brewed Ale finishes crisp, clean, relatively crisp, and quite smooth. Overall, this is a winner for malt liquor.

24 ounce can. Pale gold pour with an average white head. Faint malt aroma. Taste is grain and malt. Very watery. Not much else to say.

Nothing says smooth like Mickey’s Ice!!! Two 40s will do the trick with these. I would prefer if the ABV would be a little higher, but I suppose I’m used to the high gravity beverages.

For some reason Mickey’s Ice tastes quite a bit better than regular Mickey’s despite it being only slightly stronger. In my experience it’s been the crisper, tastier, more refreshing of cheap malts out there. Awesome cheap brew that I’ll never pass up.

Served direct from the 40 at a BYOB Chinese Restaurant in Hawaii. The appearance is green glass. The flavors and aromas of sweet cereal, and some rice. Not as bad as I was expecting.
